Alright who here that does cardio watches their cardiac recovery times?
And
How much Cardio do you do?

I have been doing 1 mile on the elliptical every workout for the 3rd week now, for the 3rd week now I am doing decent weight again and for the 3rd week going 5-6 times a week.

My Mile is anywhere from 6:32-9.00-ish today it was 7:50
For cardia recovery I go slow for 2 minutes to see where I can get my heart rate down to, today it was 29 BPM lower in 2 min's

i try to do cardio every day but its depends on how the wife feels i usually last anywhere from 6-9 mins lol i try to start off slow at times

good job metal i honestly just do cardio late winter early spring so im ready to take my shirt off at beach or lake

I quit cardio with IGF and good diet and keeping calorie intake low enough to maintain my bf% i just don't do it cause I am lazy when it comes to cardio LOL. After my bulking session which I will start soon I may do sum to get bf back down below 11%.

I always did high iintesity sprints for contest prep. Nothing during off season though. I'd burn off as many calories in 12 or 16 minutes as most would in 30 or 45

Cardio just takes to much time outside of lifting! I would be at the gym for 2 plus hours! I usually only do cardio when cutting or priming.

lol I did a 110 rep burnout too. I do it after I lift, and it only takes me 45-60 mins to do 5-6 different exercises bc I don't bs in there, and I have a hard time waiting between sets

I do a lot of cardio now. After months of getting my diet to where I can still make small improvements in strength I do cardio to slowly get leaner. I can't train like I used to after the Fusion and damage to my spinal cord so I prefer to LOOK huge despite my very pathetic strength.
I do a minimum of 30 minutes on the stair stepper 6 days a week. 3-4 days a week I do 15 additional minutes on the treadmill. One day a week I also do 30 minutes first thing in the morning on an empty stomach.
I'll be posting some pics soon, but right now I'm still trying to get things in order after my ordeal.
Apparently there are those that believe that I "don't look injured". Guys with nothing more than a high school education disregarding Neurologist and NeuroSurgeon reports... There is no accountability in this country

Your "weakness" is a result of an injury man so it's not even fair to call it that - don't think of yourself that way.

To the original thread, I feel so much better doing cardio. I can run, but wouldn't unless I had to, a 5 minute mile. Usually I do lots of jump roping and if at the gym use the indoor track. I sprint for fun, but rarely do it because I don't want to pull something. I do the light stuff for general health and staying lean.

I do 45 min LISS fated in the morning (walking the dog).

Then 3-4 times a week I do another 45 moderate to high intensity in the evening, sometimes just cardio or post workout.

I do 30 minutes of cardio every day after I conclude my speed training workout, which consists of resting only 30 seconds between sets.
