NBC show American Ninja

I was watching the NBC show American Ninja Monday night and was surprised at how light weight these guys were, but still looked muscular. One guy was 5'11" and weighed just 145 lbs. Another guy was 6'5", 180 lbs. They go through an obstacle course and most of the skill involves grip strength. I didn't hear the details on the prize money, but it was either $1 million total prize money or the winner gets 1 million. These guys are so serious that they even build replicas of the course in their back yard or at their farm. The finals are coming up.

That is why they can run the obstacles the way they do. You will rarely see a guy or girl be heavy set and make it through the coarse. We watch it every week and some of the unknowns pop up and run the entire coarse and some of the ones that have tried it again and again do not make it. I am 51 and wish I could be as physical and those guys.

Yeah, definitely seems like you'd have an advantage at a lighter body weight on those obstacles. I love watching those. I just wish there were local courses where guys like me could go try them out.

wasn't Rhonda Rousey suppose to do the Ninja Warior course, or did she already do it? if so anyone have that video link

DLB ran it and she failed quickly, unfortunately. I love that show. Funny how when a "bigger" guy, over 180 lbs comes up, they comment on him being so heavy and big.

I record them and watch them later. Going to watch it tonight. The one from a week or two ago was awesome. Only 1 guy made it.

Sam Sann is simply amazing! I just watched the Houston finals. HFS! 48 years old and he smoked that course. Dude is a physical specimen and a true beast.
