Hormone Levels Normal (Bloodwork) And Gyno Issues

a buddy of mine just got all his bloodwork done and his doc said that his hormone levels are completely normal. The weird thing is that he is still having gyno issues. He has pretty pronounced gyno...its a decent size lump and it is really bothering him. He went ahead and ran nolva at 40mg a day for 2 weeks and it didnt get any better. Anyone have any suggestions here. I was thinking maybe femara to shut down the estro and then follow up with the agonist like nolva to block until it settled down....but im no expert so i was wanting some opinions from my homeboys.....thanks fellas

I've always wondered about possibly a localized hormonal imbalance in breast tissue or the gland...Is that possible? Possibly a higher affinity for estrogen attaching to the gland there as it gets larger?

Could it be that the lump has formed and is now permanent therefore his bloods could be normal but the problem is still apparent

if everything is normal - then make sure a trained doctor gives him a breast exam to eliminate anything bad. if all is good there - he may be stuck with either just dealing with it or surgery. I had the same thing. still have it after a year and a half. down to one lump on left - some days are good some are a little sore - especially after chest workout.

not much you can do if the nolva and or arimidex - etc did not completely get it gone.

i have elected to deal with it vs surgery.

I definately could not figure mine out either - I had all the tests and all the bloodwork and everything was fine - my doc just said - you got gyno - fibrocystic tissue. nothing really to do about it - just live with it or remove it.
