I was out there once and I've got a story for you guys. My brother played golf in college and when he finished he tried to make it on the tour for a couple of years. I played in the gateway tour and then the greygoose tour which was in scottsdale. I went out there to caddy for him in a tourney he played in, by the way he didn't make it but he did play golf for 2 years and get paid albeit a very little amount. After the tourney we went to a nightclub with some of his buddies (other golfers). Well, this was right about the time the movie Dodgeball came out and Vince Vaughn had been on a tour around the country promoting the movie. About 2 hours after we got to the club this guy walked in and straight up to the VIP area. Well, a little while later one of our buddies was completely trashed at the bar and we were about to leave to get him home when Vince came down to the bar to get another bottle of wine. When he came down the drunk guy looked up at him and said, "You're Vince Vaughn...man I love you...you were awesome in.....Rudy." I coudn't believe it. I was thinking that he gets this crap all of the time, but he looked a little puzzled and then said, "What did you say." He repeated it and that was the first time anyone had ever said that to him, he said most people didn't even know he was in that movie. He invited us up to his table and we hung out with him, well his entourage for the rest of the night. So, I got home and I told all my buddies about it and of course they didn't believe me. But a couple of nights later he was on Letterman and Dave asked him how the tour had been and he talked about stopping in Scottsdale on the way to Cali. and hanging out with his boys at SIX.
So if you are staying around there at all the SIX is a great bar to go to after about 11:00. It's in Old Town. Sry bout the long reply, but your post made me think of this.
