Ok so I dont know if anyone is into progress or not for us beginners but maybe someone will see this and it will help them or they can read this and help me! This is going to be my blog of my progress. Hopefully I am not posting this in a bad spot.

At the time of this posting I weigh 208.5lbs
Ive given up fast food
no more pop(soda) or beer
im preparing high protein meals and eating about 6 moderate meals a day
drinking around 1 gallon of water a day and taking two protein shakes one when i get up and one after i lift. Im shooting for 220g protein from food and another 80 from the shakes.

Im going to lift as follows (obviously switching it up from week to week)

chest/tricepts
cardio
legs
cardio
sholders/back

Ive decided to go with 4 excersises per muscle doing 3 sets of 6 to 8 reps.

As far as supplements go for now im going to try this route:
sus500 3 pills daily (one in the morning and 2 about 2 hours before i work out) im going to do this for 4 weeks, at the beginning of the 4th week im going to start the thermolean(6 pills throughout the day) this lasts 4 weeks then the 4th week of those you start the PCT.
all the while i will be taking the gnc sport pack multivitamin, fish oil pills, and liver guardian.

I know this a long blog and a lot of you might think im getting a little carried away but from what ive put togehter talking to everyone here and my freinds who lift I think this program is best for me. So please blast away and let me have it. . . maybe you can talk me into some last minute changes before I start my program on Monday! If no one changes my mind I will post back in a week with any progress/problems/ect. . .ect thanks agian for all your help and input guys!

This is really a great step for you brother. I'm happy you came to MC and I look forward to seeing you develop as time goes by.

My suggestions:

As I stated before, cardio NEEDS to be performed 3 days a week, every other day and you should be lifting 3 days a week, everyother day.

Don't exceed 1.5 grams of protein per pound of body weight at this point.

think about hitting superman PC for a custom diet. The guys is good at what he does.

agree with nair you have made a decision to better yourself and there are some good bros around to help you along the way here at mc. as long as you can put up with irishprides shit you will be just fine.lol

im sure i will throw in that day three cardio as i cant seem to keep myself out of the gym! only lifting 3 days a week is going to take disicipline! I gotta be honest with you, and a lot of you are going to yell and scream, I dont beleive in the whole low carbs thing. Way back when there were people who ate nothing but carbs, I am going to keep an eye on them but im not going to cut them out. Even though I did not say it fat intake will be kept to a minimum. This may also sound crazy but Ive always been a beliver in the theroy of following a slightly looser diet and working out harder to overcome what you eat. . .does that sound crazy?

How much cardio a day? ? ? ? Im not sure, I was going to just get in there and do cardio untill I felt results. How much cardio do you guys do?

Yes.

If you plan to take nutrition into your own hands, please research it a little bit. Chris Aceto writes some damn good stuff and you can find some of his work on the internet but sports nutrition books is great place to learn what you need to know.

ive been reading a lot of stuff, the way I figure it carbs are ok if you eat good carbs. . . dont get me wrong I know you cant go crazy like eat a loaf of bread a day but in moderation they are ok. With the hours I work its going to be hard to stick to a steady diet but I will do my best and let you guys know when I find the one that is working for me!

im dieting right now and i havent cut carbs out. But i have lowered them significantly. When bulking i eat a shit ton of carbs. Im a big believer in healthy fats as well, fish oil olive oil etc. fats help you burn fat whether you believe that or not.

swole thats kinda what im saying. . . . for 4 weeks im just going do lift hard hard hard. . . . then im going to go lean and focus more on cardio and low cards for 4 weeks . . . just a plan a friend told me to try so Im going to go with it, basically the idea of lifting hard for a few weeks and letting the body attack the fat naturally then switching to a leaning up cycle for a few weeks once ive put on a little muscle, like everyone says its all trial and error with a little science untill you get your body chemesty figured out!

Good luck bro. I started in about he same shape you are about 3 months ago. I have worked on leaning on the last 90 days or so and have dropped 17 pounds or so depending on when I take my weight. I am going to post some pics when I can find a cam. Mine stinkin broke. I am currently 203 but started off around 222 or so. I have dropped 4 inches in the waist and can wear jeans I haven't been able to wear in 2 years. Keep up the hard work and remember it won't happen overnight. Hard work, good nutrition, and you know this already... good advice. There are some great guys here. Later
