my deepest condolences bro. his spirit will live on in you and your family. remember him well, for it is in these cherished memories that he lives in your heart. i hope you have a special place picked out for him. I have always kept rottweilers. One of mine we buried in a beautiful pet cemetary. The other we cremated and put in a beautiful vase in the family room. It was almost uncanny, since one of them was incredibly close with my father. when my father became ill with cancer, the dog would literally not leave his side even to eat. When my father passed away, the dog dropped into the worst depression i have ever seen. she passed away shortly thereafter; i believe 4 months after my father. it was as though they were spiritually linked, and they both passed away of cancer.
it is truly remarkable how pets are such integral members of our families. they are endearing creatures; they do not judge, they do not get angry. they merely live to please us and are ecstatic to see us at all times no matter the circumstances. they do not ever care if we have failed, they love us without regard for anything else in this world.
