Need troubleshooting on abs 90 days before contest

Hey guys, maybe I'm a bit paranoid but am 3 months from contest and am looking good except in the ab area. I've been cutting back since mid September and started cycling of Test Enth 500 mg/wk and same with EQ on Nov 1st. My GH usage is 5iu's, 5/2. I've been on GH for a long time although a good portion of that time was 2-3 iu's per day.

My gut seems extended, but is much better than it was even 2 months ago. My BF on Nov 1st was 17% and although I haven't done a reading lately, its down considerably. But progress is being made, its seems to be slow even given my age (51). I'm going to switch to Tren Ace and Prop.and Anavar the last 7 weeks and add T3 and clen. My trainer seems to think most the fat is visceral. My main questions are given the above:

*Been running GH without slin, and to be honest, I have no clue on how to run slin. So I'm hesitant. Would Glucopage do close to the same? Is my problem a hormone deficiency issue somewhere? Will the T3 and clen help a lot? Would a colon cleanse reduce the ab area? I'm not real keen on cardio, am doing 3 times/week for 45 min each at 70% of my THR. I tend to lose muscle w/too much cardio.

Increase cardio? My trainer is ex Pro BB, and he's all natural now, so he's not too keen on giving advice on AAS. Thanks in advance for the help!

Some of the gut can be from water being retained there. Some people use a mild diuretic to control this. Given your age, it can also be from visceral fat. This is best lost by doing aerobic exercise.

Glucophage is not the same thing as insulin. Glucophage lowers insulin levels in the body, but some non-diabetics like to use it because it decreases appetite/hunger which in turn leads to some weight loss since they don't eat as much. This seems counterproductive to your goal if you are going to compete in three months.

You don't necessarily need insulin, and honestly, you probably wouldn't want to use it if you are looking to reduce your midsection since its first direct effect is to store fat there.

T3 can also eat up muscle if you don't take in enough calories. Clen may be effective in losing some weight if your gut is really there because of visceral fat. A colon cleanse may help slightly if you aren't clearing out enough.

IMO, the GH is fine where it is, and I would make sure the cardio is working before increasing it and possibly add in a small amount of clen. Typically, you only need your heart rate to go up to about 125-130 bpm for aerobic fat loss. If you go over that, you start to move into anaerobic exercise which won't burn fat. That's probably why you lose muscle when you do a lot of cardio. When measuring bf levels, try to do the water displacement method since it is the most accurate.

So the cardio, should I be doing 5-6 times/week, empty stomach for 45 min range? Thanks for your help  I appreciate it!

My trainer uses the site pinch test, the water displacement is not option which is a shame.

I'd do cardio first thing upon waking up. I had a protein shake as soon as I woke up then headed to do cardio. I don't really do any type of ab exercises before a contest prep because with the diet they really start popping on their on with about 6 weeks out. And I don't want to add size to my waist so I don't do it. But like saudades said, a diuretic might work as well. I prefer a natural diuretic over a store bought one, but that's by choice as well. The cardio should help on its own for now. I say 45 pre-breakfast should start to help

So really with a protein shake first thing, stomach really isn't empty right? Is that OK? Any diuretic recommendations? Also cardio how many times per week? Thanks!

I would do the low intensity cardio on a fasted stomach....first thing in the morning. Take some BCAA's and glutamine to help maintain muscle without eating. You will probably have to do alot since it's low intensity.

You would have to wait and post pics closer to the show for anyone to determin whether or not and what kind of diuretic you would need, cant recomend anything now and not without pics

Will try and get some pics posted.....my trainer suggested doing vacuums plus wearing a ab girdle. Anyone here have any luck with either?
