Reracking weights

I personally have a pet peeve at the gym. How many of you guys rerack the weight after you are done? I got pissed today because a holes just leave their weights on the floor and dont put anything away. do people have any home training anymore.:curse:

I rerack, sometimes I will leave a 45 on each side if its like that before I get on it. I also hate when ppl rerack DB's in like a totally wrong spot, like 10s 15s 20s than 65s, c'mon really? I usually make a comment out loud so ppl hear me, and they know who they are.

I leave 45's on as well sometimes. I am not even talking about leaving them on the bar/machine. I am talking about leaving plates just on the damn floor just laying there. the worst part is the rack or tree is 3 feet away. Is it too much work to bend over and pick them up. you are in a gym to workout or is that toooooo much effort. of course these are the people who only show up at random for a week because of a new membership then never return or 16yr old kids. they think its like a maid service.

This is a peeve of mine too. If you're so strong you need all those plates, you're strong enough to put them back

You are right, it's usually the dumb teens that do it. I hate the dumbbells left on the floor more than anything. You are looking for a 75 and it's somewhere on the floor.

For all you guys that leave a 45 on...cough cough...metal85...I am the guy that has to clean it up at the end of the night! What pisses me off is the people that leave the dimes on the hammer strength equipment!!!!

lol I go early, so if those same single 45s are still on there at the end of the night somethings wrong. Your gym looks badass btw

I always rerack dumbbells. I'll leave a 45# plate on each side most of the time, depends on my mood whether or not I want to rerack all the weight.

I just started doing this too. I give them a warning and then I suspend them the next day. It has cut back on it pretty good...but the 10's all over the machines is a mystery.

Maybe they are using 10's and telling there self that they are 45's... lol

my old gym used to do this. It should be done more. I'll admit, I have
left 5's on the bench barbell (thats a joke) I always rerack and unload.
Even the 45's cus sometimes the few women we have use the shit.
I have gotten on guys before when then use about 10 different dumbells
and leave ALL ot them all over the place. Usually it is the new guys that
last a week.

they send out the girls at my gym to fix all that shit and i help them. I am a humanitarian
