Is there any problem with pre-loading syringes? Is there any downside to doing so?

No problem at all, I do it myself. You just need to make sure you pay attention to sterility and keeping them clean.
Actualy in my opinion its more of an upside, as your giving your gear time for the BA in it to disapate a little, making the shot less painful then it might have been.
And try not to forget where you left it,lol, Theirs nothing worse then when your family members goes to get a band aid and finds a loaded syringe,lol, just kidding

Probably a stupid question but what is "BA"? I see it posted often but am not sure what this means?
Benzyl Alcohol , its what causes the pain after injecting steroids, and some gear has higher content of Ba then others which causes pain and inflamation, so by letting it sit out like u explained will let the BA disapate

You're better off to do it that way. For me, that's the worst part, I'm lazy so I like to do it at the beginning of the week so I can just shave, clean and pin

Is it also okay to pre-load non-oil based products like HCG and B12 or is there a reason those should NOT be pre-loaded?

Nope, I did it fine with my GH, which of course needed refridgeration. I'm sure you know NOT to mix water based with oil based gear right?
I'm always fine with pre-loading, it saves some time for me. I don't mind spending a few extra minutes doing this to be able to step out of shower and slam that puppy in my glute and head to bed. I always use a sterile large plastic baggie for storage that I even swab out w/alcohol every so often and tape the outside sleeve of pin as safety mesaure

its a very bad idea to preload anything water based, reason being is water based products grow bacteria much much faster, thats why guys who use things like winny and test suspension get abscesses** alot, on top of that shit being painful in itself, the water base makes it much more vulnrable to growing bacteria and giving u an infection
SO ITS BEST TO ALWAYS KEEP UR WATR BASED PRODUCTS IN THEIR STERILE VIALS UNTIL READY TO USE,

Yes, bacteria won't mess with the oil, only water based compounds
