Changing squat stance

Do you guys change your stance based on whether you're focusing on hams or quads? I do because I've noticed that I get a better pump in the quads with a shoulder width stance and more in the hams with a sumo stance. I also split legs into 2 days so that may be why I've really noticed a difference
 
i split legs into 2 days as well glutes/hams. quads/calves much better pump i didnt know how bad my hams were lacking until i focused on them but they grew like a mofo when they got their own day
 
Squat with the stance that allows you to get the most depth comfortably. Your hams and glutes will grow like crazy. Look at how big powerlifters asses are.
 
I change my stance from wide to more narrow alternating each time I have a leg day. Wide hits my glutes and inside thighs more, and the narrow stance hits more of the outside of the quads. I've found that I get a lot more width/thickness size when I do the wide stance.
 
I do mostly hacks bc it feels better on my knees, which determine how I do them
 
Kinda off topic but if you want your deadlift to go up or back size to go up as a result, squat with your dl stance. This will increase pulling power and increase the weight you can train your back with.
 
Yea powerlifters squat wide because it is much easier to hit parallel that way and they do have big hams and glutes, but lack quad size in comparison. That's why I do a narrow stance to focus on quads more. But that works for me maybe not for everyone
