Why we juice....the hidden reasons

Kind of a strange topic, but I tend to believe that a lot of people that cycle do it for other reasons than "they just wanna be big". When I was in college I did a sociology report where I conducted anonymous interviews with steroid users, and read into the history of some famous known steroid users. I noticed that most of them had some kind of back story that seemed to link to the reasoning for them using steroids. Whether it be bullying, abuse, sexual abuse, insecurity, drug abuse, etc.

This led me to look into my own reasoning...

While it may not be as extreme as some cases...I discovered the reasons deep in my subconscious for my steroid use, that I didn't even know were the reasons behind it.

I was always a small, skinny, goofy kid. Always had aggression. I had to overcompensate with aggression for my lack of size and strength. I watched my mother (divorced) date a few guys...some who were real assholes to her in front of me and even pushed her around a bit. I had a sister 2 years younger who would bring home scumbag after scumbag. She'd come home with bruises, she got into drugs, etc etc. Having a single mom and a younger sister...I'm supposed to be the protector. Everytime i'd confront one of my sisters boyfriends I'd get my ass handed to me...and they were 2 years younger. It got to me that I was 130lb wimp who couldn't even protect my family. I started lifting at 19....packed on a good 40lbs...and plateaued. Still wasn't big enough to scare people (which is what I wanted to do)...and gains were slowing wayy down. So at 23 I ran my first cycle...and life has improved tenfold ever since.

If anyone would like to share their hidden reasons for cycling...I'd love to hear it. This thread my be a flop....but I found it interesting that sometimes you don't even realize the real reason motivating your life decisions.

I started to see where my body could go, and i also competed so wanted to be the best
Love it....very simple lol. Sometimes it is that simple. Just goes to show that two people can be in the same lifestyle for different reasons entirely. I'm over all the past BS...that why I started, but now it's about seeing where my body can go and being the best I can.

I played college football and always stayed at about 245 pounds and 5% bodyfat and had pretty good genetics. We were always tested so I never tried anything till football was over. After ball I had some buddies that did bench press comps and they basically gave me gear just to see what would happen to me lol. I use em now basically to turn the clock back a bit and get that feeling of wellness and to be that really shredded middle aged guy at the beach.

here's my story, when I graduated high school (barely) I weighed maybe in at 150lbs-the stupid red necks at the factory that I worked at were giving me a hard time

they didn't know I had a martial arts back ground and probably didn't care either way...I started lifting got to 175lbs they wouldn't say anything to me after that

then I got to 190lbs they wouldn't even look at me...did my first cycle got to 205lbs they would see me and walk the other way

BTW my first cycle was tren A with no post cycle only 6 weeks...I didn't know any better at the time, had I knew better I think I could have hit around 220lbs

For me, I was also 130 lbs all through high school and even up until I was 29 years old. I just couldn't gain at all though I lifted all during that time. I became more determined and ate as much as I could and as much protein as I could and finally gained 20 lbs to weigh 150 when I was 30. At this point I went to the doctor and found out I had low testosterone. I was put on 300mg/week, and I went from 150 to 180 in three months. I literally kept growing out of clothes almost every week. I loved having the new size, so from there that I added in cycles. I have a thin bone structure, but at my heaviest I was 217, and I'm about 5' 10" (6' with good shoes on, lol). Being that size, I noticed that people seemed to give me an automatic respect that I know I never had when I was skinny. Women would flirt with me even in front of my wife! I don't want to be treated poorly again so that's the reason I cycle.

Though in the last few years I've lost a bit due to having to get my gallbladder out and other digestion issues, but I've been able to maintain a good size, and I intend to get back up to that heavier weight again if I can. My latest issue is that I just found out I have a genetic disorder called hemochromatosis which is that your body overloads on iron, and it has been the cause of all the other problems I have had in the past, but there is an easy treatment for it so once it's under control, my body should cooperate with me again.

started lifting at 20 years old after having my heart broken by my gf of 5 years, high school sweetheart, kind of deal...so to show her what she was going to miss hahaha.I started lifting and liked the progress I was making so about 25 years took a trip to Mexico and jumped on Test Cyp and AD-50, hooked ever since. Love being big and turning heads as you walk through a crowd,

Behind all these reasons is one thing….getting laid, don't lie! Women love muscles, and the only reason some say they don't is because their scrawny boyfriends are probably standing right there!

women like to be man handled in bed, they like it rough, and when they see a well muscular built guy, they cream in their panties lmao

Initially I started as I was in wrestling and wanted to be stronger than rest and at that age and time not many fellows were even aware of AAS and I had a cousin weight lifter and saw him pining and got the idea and started cycling at very early age and without proper knowledge and the first cycle was just of decca and soon i was a like the strongest in my weight category and started being stupid with the new gained strength and resulted in irrepairable ligament injuries and wrestling career went in drain.Right now I cycle just to lift more and be small posture guy who lifts more than the big guys.

I entered this new lifestyle after I was diagnosed with low T. I have always been blessed (and cursed) with a vey high metabolism. As a youth, I could not gain weight no matter how hard I tried. To give an example of this, one day I came home from work and my 16 year old daughter was walking around in a new pair of jeans. Something odd about them...could not immediately put my finger on it. Then I saw it - the front pockets were square, as if the back pockets were also on the front...she was wearing my Navy Dungarees!! I was 26 when I last wore those and they perfectly fit my 16 year old daughter! Yeah, I had a 26 inch waist and the body of a computer geek.

So fast forward to a few years ago, I turned 43 (I think) and found I had all the same symptoms as listed on the low T commercial, got tested, went through hell with treatment, and finally found myself pinning test. Due to the horrifying pain the next day after my first shot, I found myself on a Body Building / Steroids /TRT forum where I learned a LOT more about TRT than my doctor even knows. This lead me to learn about the other steroids, cycles, etc. I always thought of myself as in shape, and compared to my grossly obese friends and neighbors I was. But I was 190 pounds and 28% body fat...which is not good.

Now that TRT gave me my life back, I realized I only had about half of it left! I decided that I should be the best me I can be and that a safe and respectful use of steroids can help in that goal. I grabbed a personal trainer / nutritionist who put me on a cut from Hell and taught me how to eat and exercise properly. Only after I got under 15% body fat did he even recommend a Test blast and the start of my first bulking cycle. I am never going back to the old me.
