Help: Lost 100lbs in 2 years lifting+diet... Now 185lbs and considering my first cycle.

Hi All,

I could really use some good advice please. Let my start by giving my basic info:

Age: 35
Weight: 185lbs
Height: 6ft
Bodyfat %: I estimate it to be around 18% (I will put up some pics)

Other Relevant Info:
I suffer slightly from loose skin as you may be able to tell from my pics. Having lost 100lbs I am lucky on this front, but have some loose skin and a bit of fat on my lower chest (no gyno) and on my abdomen. I have considered a tummy tuck but it isn't too bad, so I haven't pulled the trigger. Unless I can gain muscle/size on my abdomen, this procedure might be needed to see lower abs down the line, but I am not sure. My lower chest is a concern too but adding volume to my pecs and leaning out might fix it.

I cut down to 175lbs at my lowest weight and realised I needed to go to approx 165 to be very lean and that was way to small for me. I have now gone up to 185lbs. The side pics where I am in blue is at 185lbs. The two pics where I am shaven and showing my front torso and back are with no pump and when I was at 177lbs.

Genetics wise, I have big arms and a decent back, my chest is a weak point and I have never been very lean.

I train hard 5 times a week.

Goal: I do not want to have the appearance of a huge power lifter or bodybuilder. I would like to be 195lbs to 200lbs (tops) at 10% and look like an athlete who does weight training (NFL running back...) Essentially, I would like to sit on the border of what is possible naturally in the eyes of the average person.

Questions Please:
1) What is the best stack to achieve my goals, while putting the least amount of strain on my body/natural hormone production?

2) Is it true once someone goes on gear for a cycle, they will struggle to train without it going forward?

3) If I stop after my first cycle, will I lose most of the gains/leanness if I continue to train and eat right but without and PEDs going forward?

4) Would acheiving 195lbs at 10%bf likely fill in the loose skin on my abdomen and chest?

Thank you all for taking the time to read my thread and giving advice!

I have attached some photos to help you all assess me.

No it's not true once u do a cycle it's hard to train without steroids! People who say that don't know how to properly do PCT and maximize holding their gains! Of course there's a little less strength and enthusiasm at first but you'll get through it if done right!

I I don't think u need a tummy tuck , and I would suggest testosterone cycle if u wanna go the steroids route ,

And after looking ur pictures over again , I think you could really make some great gains as your working with a lot better base than your giving yourself credit for

welcome to MC

Presser 's right on. No need for a tummy tuck. Stick around your progress should be great.

Lots of potential follow the advise above and you will be on track in no time. Welcome to the site!

Thank you all for the encouragement!

I have posted a couple pics to more clearly show the loose skin issue. I have been worried that if I get very lean I would have some droopy skin on my lower chest (nipple area) and my lower abdomen.

If I do push the button and start a cycle I would do it with the intention of only doing one bulk/cut cycle then maintaining it naturally. I noted in a post above it is possible to retain most of the gains and that is great news! Now I would like to understand the safest and best way to achieve my goal while minimising the side effects as much as possible. I did have low libido issues at the end of my 2 year cut which improved when I started eating 3,000 calories a day. I would hate to do something that brings this problem back so safety and side effects is an important consideration.

May I ask please:

1) If money isn't an issue for this cycle and all options were available to me, what would be considered the best type and quantity of test and should I add anything with it?

2) How long should this cycle last?

3) As I am 35 years old, should I be concerned with hurting my own test production going forward, post cycle? Is there anything I can do or take during/post cycle to minimise this?

4) What is considered the best PCT?

5) I have included a pic of Matt Ogus who has the exact type of physique I hope for. Given my starting point, is it very unrealistic to want to get close to this at the end of my cycle? I figure at 6ft this is around 195lbs, maybe 200lbs? If I am too ambitious could someone post a pic of what they think I would achieve post cycle?

Thank you all again for your advice and guidance! I really want to complete my transformation in the safest way possible.

man, a test cycle and a carb cycle diet with a reverse pyramid training system would do wonders for you....

are you concerned with fertility?? have you already had children?

Yes, although already had children, I want to be able to have more kids down the line (a year or two after the cycle). I am also conserned with Libido and the need for TRT post cycle, especially given my age.

Thanks for the help!

i would def run hcg with all cycles... 250iu twice a week from start of cycle to 3 days before pct every single time.. 4 weeks clomid 50mg ed for pct as well.. you can throw in some nolva at 20mg..

whats your diet going to look like on this cycle?? thats what is really going to predicate your gains

Thank you for your advice!

I am willing to adjust my diet as required. I am currently consuming 3000 calories with around 220g protein, 300 carbs and the rest fat. I monitor everything on my fitness pal and am disciplined.

Please advise the best way to diet.

Thanks!

go to the diet section.. there is a sticky called free diet advice..

read post 1, then follow the instructions and post your diet.. ill critique it for you

Damn Bro.. CONGRATULATIONS! That is awesome. One thing many people don't understand is that your natural production is already declining and will continue to do so. You may not naturally be able to produce the amount of testosterone you need to meet your goals. Time will tell, but if so, it's no big deal. I'm on TRT and wouldn't have it any other way. I feel and look better than is humanly possible for even the most elite natural bodybuilder.
I would do 300mg of testosterone per week along with NPP at 100mg EOD. That's a stout cycle. I feel deca takes too long to produce effects for "cycles". Even just 300mg of test would be fine, but if money is no issue I would do NPP. I would also do IGF to help with skin tightening, and body recomp. It's an amazing substance. 40mcg a day is all you need. That cycle would transform your body. I would have some Nolvadex and tormifene citrate for PCT. Its going to be a fun ride. Personally I cant recommend the test, NPP, and IGF enough. It would create the perfect environment for attaining your goals.
