Brand newbie

I've been reading a lot of posts in search of the magic winny recipe. I can get the powders, but am still a little confused about what precautions need to be taken in order to maintain a suitable level of sterility. If someone could tell me where to get all of the related supplies and equipment (filters, etc), that would be a great first step for me.

As for the actual combination... I've read varying posts in stickies and otherwise that differ in the actual recipe. One was as simple as putting bacteriostatic water in a vial with the winny powder and shaking before injecting. Now, compared to other posts, this seems a little oversimple.

I don't want to ramble too much, but what is PEG? Is this a substitute for the oil commonly used in other compounds? Where does one get this? Do you combine the powder and the solvents, then pass through a filter? Wouldn't that be futile? Please advise and write simply; my grammar is good, but my grasp of some of the vernacular here is less than tight.

yeah some of the conversions (especially for the injectables) are oversimplified - they may work but you are kind of rolling the dice as far as sterility/safety. A cookbook type sticky for all sorts of powders is probably is in order here but until then there are a lot of knowlegable people here that can help you out. The first step is to do as much research as possible and then list questions one by one. Otherwise you will inevitably post a thread with 5 questions and only a couple will actually be answered.

I can't really help, as that is one thing I have yet to make into an injectable. Why not make it for oral use? Its easy as hell and less pain. Also, I don't know what your home brewing experience is, but I do know that winny is a little more complicated to make then the normal injectables.

RMR will have your filters and other products. Sterilty isn't that hard, disinfect your self your work area and make sure everyhting you use has been sertilized (vials, clean syringe, etc)

PEG is polyethylene glycol, it is used in place of oil. it is known for being able to make some of the more difficult substances go into solution w/out crashing. it's also good for higher mg/ml ratios.

like brew said, i'd just take your winny orally if you're worried about sterility.

and about the stickies/various recipes, they are there for you to read and learn. if you have questions regarding one of them then go ahead, but they are mostly there for you to experiment with what you think will work.

thanks everyone... and i love the pic! i wish i had a shirt like that... i work with a bunch of vegans. if i were to go by the stickies, i would have conflicting recipes. i guess i'm looking for someone who does winny on a semi-regular basis so i can learn from others' mistakes. afterall, that's what these message boards are, learning from others' experience so you don't duplicate their errors.

now, i've read various posts that deal with using peg200 and peg400 for use with winstrol powder. i also read that there is a certain amount of pain associated with them. what about using bac water? is this a sterility risk or does the winstrol crash in this substance? what about cutting the bac water with a measure of peg200 or 400? is peg an oil as i suspect or is it water-soluble?

peg is not an oil or water soluble. most recipes either mix it with ba and bb. i have not made winny before, but there are some guys here that have, maybe they'll chime in.

i would say the quality of your powder is a huge factor concerning site pain and getting into solution/suspension.

Can you guys send me a list of sources... PM or Email? I've found a few, but after asking the MODs, they haven't heard of them so obvisouly I have my reservations about ordering from him. Also, what is the minimum grade winny powder than I could use with the PEG400 mixture? Thanks, you guys are awesome. I bought a cheezy inkjet T-shirt kit and made a shirt of Flexmaster's avatar. I wore it to the gym today and everyone was cracking up! Got a date out of it too

i haven't made winny, so i don't know about the grade with peg400. but even if it doesn't go into solution and just stays in suspension all you would have to do is shake it up before loading your syringe.
