BENCH PRESS MAX

My squat and dead lift are much more impressive lifts..Ive squatted near 500 and sure I could do it..I am sure I could dead over 5000..My bench is low due to MANY upper body injuries..i am working on it though..I fully intend to break the 315 barrier that is haunting me...My 225 max rep is getting better though..I am also not old but quite older than most of you youngins...lol
 
Some of you bros are putting up some Fucking weight boy, 400 + is serious, hopefully i'll be there soon.

Last time I tried a one rep max I put up 265lbs. Weighed in at 165lbs. I was on a sos only cycle then. Can't wait to hit up this sos & dbol and hopefully get over 300lbs!!

Fina kicked in and I got up 300LBS!!  It was cake! ;)

I don't max out but my normal workout weight right now is 270 for 3 sets 15reps, 10 reps and 6 or 7 on the last set. I do chest 1 day per week though and i do
flats,inclines,declines,dumbell presses,flat flys then shrugs militarys and bent rows. I weigh 184lbs and am not currently cycling. This is minor in comparison too many of you but I just got back to liftin about 4 months ago.....was out for a long time so I'm happy with my strength right now.
 
I'm 40, been clean for 12 months and benching the same as I did when geared to the max. Singles on 550, 440 x 6 for reps. Harder to do clean, had to concentrate on diet, supps and recuperation more. I weigh 265 (from Oz) and have placed at world powerlifting titles before. I only use a single layer bench at comp time. Hopefully will be in Finland this year to give Lee Marshall (UK buddy) a flogging!!!!!!
 
damn bro, that's impressive!!!!! One day Gunny will be at that level but for now I'll just keep chuggin along and striving....good luck @ Finland bro.

I think i maxed out on an empty barbell the other day, about 16 lbs. mind you, i read from a mens health magazine that doing flys with milk bottles and inclined presses with a pair of boots would help my pectorilas majoris grow so....who fucking knows lol
 
I forgot to mention, i also maxed out on a protein shit the other day, even got a birth certificate for it.

Hey bro, I don't have a good bench either.   I'm 6'4", 230 lbs and my arms are long as hell.  I might be able to do 240 now off cycle.  I had to stop for several months from a shoulder injury too.

Anyway, length of the arms makes a big difference in how much you can bench.  
Shorter arms=better bench.  It's a leverage thing.
 
My contest best is 575. I've done this easily in bench only meets and full power meets. Once in 308 wieght class and the other weighing around 312.

Just hit 415 at the top of my pyramid. This is my 3rd cycle and I’m feeling stronger than ever. Hoping to push it up to 435 by the end of the summer.

no disrespect to u rampage but i think that is one of the most ignorant question, what is your max. we are fuking bodybuilders not pewerlifters. plus in my opinion fuk the barbell bench press, dumbells are a lot better they giv eu better isolation.
 
450 weighing 218lb

But my shoulder is fuxxored for the past 3 months(right after that weight, is there a correlation?? :)
