Lowering the cable bill

It works, I feel i waste my cable but its nice to have when I do actually sit down and watch tv. As you can see I cant log in every day and post but I get to it maybe twice a week, the same with my cable so why pay alot for it?

It'd be nice if you only paid for what you used kinda like water and electricty, but I know there's no way for them to calculate that

I call and complain about the price on my cable about every 3-6 months and get the new sign on price. i figure if a new person can pay half of what i do why cant i after all i am a existing customer who's about to switch (at least thats what i tell them).

But you have to have the info on the competiors i had one question me about the price comparision and once i told her all the prices and what i would save they adjusted the bill

It would be nice if you could pick the channels you wanted.. I would maybe need 6 channels !!!!

Very inspiring

our lease is up in july and on the next house we rent we are probably just going internet only. my wife and I never watch a show on the day it comes on just through the dvr. making the computer a dvr and get hulu plus or something similar. as long as you have a fast enough internet you are good.

I've been w/Dish Net. for 10 yrs, I called them up and told them I was going to cancel unless they conceded $. My bill went from $86/month to $65. I also mentioned that Direct TV had similair offer. Try it, it worked for me. Alls they can say is NO

I turned the cable off but kept the high speed internet and got HULU and Netflix, the kids can watch whatever they want and it doesnt cost 100 per month.

According to me, i will share my secret Im paying a low bill on direct tv, heres what you do when they have a new offer you call every six months and have them match it or give you a credit. They offer good deals for new customers so i just state why should I stay a customer if you dont care for old committted customers and they always lower my bill and match what they give new customers. Plus they offer the referral for 100$ for new customers, its broken down to 10$ a month but you can do as many referrals as you like for almost a free cable bill for months.
