I may just be grumpy today, but im sick of this pussy fucking music at the gym! I was hearing this techno pop jack off music over my headphones and its annoying as hell.
How are you gonna get pumped listening to Beiber and Lady gaga? this shit fuckin blows, bunch of garbage ass shit that I take offense to bc its considered to be music.
We need heavy music, metal, rock etc
I will take VH eruption over laalaa blah blah blah oooooo yeah blah blah blah anyday

Agreed, when I'm alone in my gym I play heavy metal for the most part and pump away. Theres music to work out to then theres music that you can cruise the road to and they are totally different.

We have some older women in the morning that come down and they gotta listen to the 60's. Since I'll be 52 in 2 days, you'd think I might like at least some of it. Not. I didn't like it back in the day, I sure as hell dont like it now.

Yes Beiber really doesn't make me get up for heavy squat day. He's a frickin puss and he needs to lose those Drew Carey glasses.

Damn I'm old school as hell at times to a fault

hahaha I can deal with 60s music shit put some Hendrix in I'll be good but this "pop" bullshit needs to go

Hendrix cool, that dude knew how to jam that guitar. Doors were good too. But when they turn the XM to 60's and hear Little Surfer Girl by Beach Boys well it make me :puke:

On the good side, I'm learning to tune out that poppy crap which really helps me more in being self disiplined. And thats always a good thing

Another reason I'm grateful that my gym only plays rock music and there's maybe only 10 female members and that's only because their boyfriends or husbands train there

IMO I really dont care whats on the radio as long as I'm done training for the day. They can listen to Beethovans 5th sympathy for all I care.

I almost always have my ipod on, but I can hear the music over top of the songs on my ipod at times if the song is a quiet one so I'm glad it's always rock though...I hate all these places playing top 100 music with TVs and such, that's not a gym to me

Dude dont compare Beethovan to gaga I would listen to classical music, spanish guitar, rock, hard rock, metal, heavy metal, I dont want to listen to pop bs

Got to agree completely about the the soft lame music, ive had to invest in an ipod just so i can keep my concentration. No offense to adele, but when your trying to get in the frame off mind to set some new PB's this song just doesnt cut it for me

Thats not what I meant Metal, just like I said in earlier post, theres music I like out of the gym just fine then (yes Beethovan is fine) but theres a time and place for that, but not when I'm lifting.

lol ^^^ lets form our own gym
Would love to, but as a gym owner us hard cores represent a sliver of the population. In this cow town of 25K, if I relied on the hard cores for revenue I'd be broke (even worse than I am currently LOL)

Damn I'm frickin 52 yrs old today. I think I can remember when Lincoln was shot!!!

invest in some decent headphones, not the ones you get with the ipod and you wont be able to hear anything except your own music

Pandora radio is great. Plug some headphones into the phone and tune out the rest of the world

I wouldnt bring good headphones to the gym, but I do need some for playin music in the case on the drums
