Is Aromasin worth the money?

For you guys who run an AI during cycles what do you use and why? As I understand it Aromasin is the best AI but it is pretty expensive.

I am looking at using an AI during each cycle from now on, and possibly year round as I'm on HRT. Just had my blood work done and my estradiol came back at 42.3. Range is 7.6 - 42.6. I'm almost above the threshold on HRT so I feel some kind of AI would be a good idea. Just trying to figure out if it's worth it to use Aromasin.

I wouldn't waste my money bro. Arimadex is way better in my OP. Aromisen just didn't seem to help me with any fckn sides.

Are you sure it was real? Aromasion is suicidal, meaning it bind to the aromatase enzyme and kills it so when you come off there is not estrogen rebound. Adex has rebound and letro can be too suppressive. At least this is what I've read.

i always use arimidex. i had sore sore sore nips and upd my adex to 1mg daily and have no soreness now. def works!

Oh it was legit. My body just reacts to adex way better. Letro could be used, but I wouldn't unless I was a couple weeks out from a show. Like you said, very suppresive.

I didn't really notice a big difference between adex and aromasin, but I didn't use the aromasin that long so it may just have not been a long enough run

I personally don't use an AI, but if you aren't getting sides I wouldn't recommend you use either. Elevated estrogen is essential in the offseason for building as much tissue as possible.

Well, the only sides I have are bloat/water retention and decreased libido. My concern, though, is I just had bloodwork done before I start my next cycle and my test was right at 1200 and my estrogen was 42.3 (top end of the range is 42.6). So my estrogen is pretty high, almost out of range. I'm sure that when I got rom 150mg/wk to 500mg/wk it will be really high. I would rather keep it where it's supposed to be.

And I've heard coflicting things about high estrogen needed for building muscle. Never anything conclusive presented, just conjecture. Do you have any information you could link me to?

It's going to depend on your test dosage, but I'd say if the sides are really bad, 25mg ED, if not 25mg EOD should be good

Well I'll probably start at 12.5 EOD and work my way up if I use Aromasin. I was more curious what worked well for you guys using Adex.

My concern, though, is I just had bloodwork done before I start my next cycle and my test was right at 1200 and my estrogen was 42.3 (top end of the range is 42.6). So my estrogen is pretty high, almost out of range. I'm sure that when I got rom 150mg/wk to 500mg/wk it will be really high. I would rather keep it where it's supposed to be.

I do know this.... do 3 days of Letro and let me know how you feel. I know I personally grow best with no anti E's.

When using Adex precontest I used .5mg EOD.

If you are prone to gyno I might do a small amount, but just for face puffiness I prefer 20mg a day of dyazide. That's all I did when I was hitting 3g a week. It also lowers BP obviously. I would only use letro in an emergency, it's is super suppressive. I do know that if estrogen is too low you get sore joints and erection problems. Definitely don't want that. Just trying to find the balance.

I know there isn't anything specifically related to our usage, but thought maybe there was something we could draw educated conclusions from besides anecdotal evidence. Like you, some say estrogen is necessary, others say the only weight you gain from estrogen is water and fat, and the risks associated with elevated estrogen make it worth controlling using an AI. I don't know anything about dyazide though, will do some reading it.

As far as Adex goes, once signs start to show I will start at .5 E3D and adjust from there, but that typically works well for me personally
