well. . im kinda gettin worried and sure dont need stress . . i wanted to be heavier this show but HONESTLY im worried about busting weight. competing in the open light heavy , , so heaviest 198 1/4 . . last july i weighed in at 189 1/2. well today was pro/veg only. . 6 meals . yesterday prot/fats . . and btw only 6 oz meat per meal. so always hungry ANYWAY tomorrow is pro/veg only. . . this morning waking i was 193, tonight i was 197! Well, thursday its pro/fats/CARBS all meals for carb up. fri the same. . . i start 1/2 tab dyazide fri at 2pm. . and cut any added sodium fri but weigh in is from 4-6 pm. . i just hope i make it. . if i dont i guess i dony. im following what i was told. i feel good i just wish i was lighter right now. never thought id say that. . just stressing.
 
just keep check on it and really watch the carb loading, everybody responds differently. These keto diets can be tricky, Ive seen guys look great and then start carbing up, and look like total shit!! Are you carbing up with diet food? OR Junk?
 
ill be same diet as usual Dave just has me eating 45g carbs with each meal startin thursday (white rice)
 
(1) SATURDAY or SUNDAY: Last leg workout



(2) MONDAY- TUESDAY: FOLLOW CURRENT DIET



(3) WEDNESDAY: FOLLOW CURRENT DIET -à Last weight training session and cardio



(4) THURSDAY: FOLLOW CURRENT DIET + 45g carb with each meal (from WHITE RICE)…….added to the meals that have no carbs currently in them………. (so 6 carb meals of 45g per day)



(5) FRIDAY:

a. FOLLOW FOLLOW CURRENT DIET + 45g carb (from WHITE RICE). Eliminate all shakes (substitute food meals).



b. Cut out all ADDED sodium...........



c. STOP DRINKING at 8 pm (for Saturday Morning prejudging).



d. Take fiber 3x today. (only If you’ve been taking fiber all along)



e. Take ½ Dyazide at 2pm

f. Take ½ Dyazide at 9pm



(6) SATURDAY:

a. Take 1/2 Dyazide at 1am.

b. Take ½ Dyazide at 6am



c. Eat 4 whole eggs and 45g White Rice with 1/2 cup coffee (small cup)-- this will be your ONLY fluid before prejudging;



d. 2.5 hours later, Eat 4 whole eggs with 45g Rice (no liquid)



e. 1 tablespoon of All natural peanut butter with 2 rice cake every 30-40 min...starting 1 hour after last egg meal (until 20 min prior to going onstage).

f.

g. After prejudging, eat a cheeseburger and fries (no bun) with 8oz fluid. Take 1/2 Dyazide.

h.

i. Take a nap for at least an hour.

j.

k. 2.5 hours later, eat 4oz chicken 35g carbs, 1 tablespoon PB.

l. 2.5 hours later, eat 4oz chicken 35g carbs, 1 tablespoon PB



m. 1 tablespoon of All natural peanut butter with 2 rice cake every 30-40 min...starting 1 hour after last meal (until 20 min prior to going onstage).

last year i junk loaded but did palumbo all way up so decided to use him for last week prep. . just nervous , i dont see how im holding or putting on weight with so little food and pro/veg only. Also, last year i came off everything 2 weeks out. . this time he has me using into show. . so maybe thats it

ok, cool. White rice is great to carb up with. Since you want have Dave with you, you really got to be honest with yourself and watch the load. I would rather eat not enough and still be in condition and a little flat, than over eat and be soft and smooth. Also when you pump up really do more shoulder movements. Seems to bring out everything. Save push ups for last. I'm usually doing push ups behind the curtain right before I walk out. Keep a towel with you at all times to "pat" the sweat off. Also I trick I do is always wear socks, right until you walk out to. If your feet are warm then your body will be warm and this will help with vascularity. Take them off behind the curtain to.

thanks a lot man, i def will do! so u dont think the carb load will push me past weight? i know no way to tell i just would hate to be a pound over! ill just keep eyeing i guess

The way he does the water and dyazide is the same way I do it.

bring a scale with you, maybe would have to take a dyazide a little earlier than plan.
 
so if you were me. . im assuming weight in last rather than early. . ? or jus according i guess huh. . i just weighed again 195. driving myself crazy LOL
 
You'll be fine man, you'll be close, but you'll make it. You don't need that stress right now, just stay focused on eating and sleeping at this point
