Has anyone tried the Anabolic Burst Cycling of Diet and Excercise.

This is where you cycle your calories every 2 weeks.
Eating 4000+calories/day for 2 weeks then dropping to 1800-2000 calories for 2 weeks and so forth.. Logic behind it is that u will gain size but drop a little fat at the same time

Anyone heard of thsi before?
 
One of my buddies "carb cycles". It's similiar, but weekly. Like you eat 500 carbs on Sunday, monday. Then 300 Tuesday, wendsday, and you just keep dropping carbs, then you carb up again at the beginning of the week. I'm not exactly sure what it is, I'll ask him, but it's definitely helping him drop fat.

It's funny, he's endomorphic and I'm ectomorphic. So he's always trying to cut weight, when I'm always trying to build mass. We both envy each other. LOL!
