As the tops states. Any Dumbbells strictly guys here?
Any of you guys here, that advocate mostly or/all dumbbells in most your routine?

Anymore I am finding even the younger generation gearing back to all dumbbells. I know that most my best growth/gains came with intense dumbbell training.

Likes/dislikes, feed back and experiences from Vets please.

Hey man, I love dumb bells over alot of stuff, especially for chest and arm days, I use them sometimes with back, and for a couple of Tri execises, I use them for pretty much everything shoulders day well 90% of the shit. I dont like the barbell and I know thats badd, but esp after my injury the DB's feel much more comfortable, and it feels more natural , for me.

dumbells def allow for more natural movement... you hardly ever hear of someone getting injured using dumbells its always from barbells...i use both but more dumbells then barbell

Depends. I train alone so dumbbells for chest cause I have no spotter and barbell for military press cause getting the dB's up alone is hard

I have a good way of popping them up to my shoulder without using arms really at anything over 10% of the movement so I dont have a problem there, than again I dont know what weight you are pushing either

Yeah, I do my little popping to get them in place, but I don't go crazy heaven anymore anyhow.

I'll do barbell every once in a while, but I get a much better stretch and range of motion from dumbbells. I think too many people want to know what they bench and for me it's not important. I normally will bench maybe once a month and when I go back to it I almost always go up a few pounds. It's weird, but I think I strengthen a lot more with dumbbells, but I still do barbell

I have just started doing more dumbell work, but find them hard on my left shoulder since I have a torn labrum

After really thinking this over, I think I'm going to start alternating barbell to dumbbell from month to month.

I really been doing so for the past few weeks, like really adding it to movements that I norm don't, and let me tell you, I feel stronger all around and my core feels even more solid. I been doing 2/4 counts. 2 sec up, and 4 sec negatives with my dumbbells and what a hug differ! I'm able to drop the lbs and add more emphasis to my form, and it is a major improvement to my routine. Over all, it's really making a huge impact

I find my chest seems to grow better with dumbells. I go back and fourth. Been doing mainly chest with bar for a while and getting
ready to switch back to just dumbells for chest. I get a better strech with DB's but sometimes they are hard on my sholders.
