Their is atleast a million signs that women give....and I probably miss 99% of them along with all the other guys on earth. One of the female member can answer this allot better then I can.

confidence is key, along with having a good sense of humor. girls love it when you make them laugh. i didn't always have good luck with girls, all through school i was so nervous talking to them that i would stumbe over my words...i still do sometimes. but this is the key...how will you know if a girl wants to go out with you if you don't ask? being your age most women will imagine you are in a relationship...so make it obvious and ask her out.
some signs i have noticed girls throw out are...
- touching you...like when she laughs if she reaches out and slaps you on the arm playfully, better yet if she jokes back...she's probably interested.
- if she says yes when you ask her out.
- noticing the small things about you (like things you say about yourself, things you like...ect)
A few keys that have landed me many girls...take notice of the small things. when you go out on a few dates with a girl, pay special attention to things she says she likes (like movies, restuarants, candy, flowers...ect) and surprise her with these things. for example if she says she loves refridgerated milkduds ( i dated a cheerleader that loved them) then refridgerate some the night before you are hanging out and surprise her with them when you go pic her up...or if you rent a movie have them ready when you get back to your place.
- treat her like a princess. open doors for her, pay for everything, basically go out of your way to show her you care about her.
- once things start getting a little more serious...like dating steady for a month or two, leave her little srprises on her car or infront of her door or something. with this one, the timing in the relationship needs to be right so she doesn't feel like your stalking her.
- don't expect sex right away as payment for you being nice to her. make a move to kiss her goodnight after a few dates if you feel the timing is right, but i've almost always waited for her to make the move...it drives 'em crazy.lol

Campeon, you sound like me eight years ago, and we are the same age (35). All through college I would ask girls out, and they would tell me no. This was even living in a dorm room or apartment off campus. After becoming really serious about training in my last year of college, girls started to flirt with me a bit. Still, I had trouble getting them to go out with me.
Like Archaic has mentioned, I was probably thinking about it too much. I had an experience in which I met my wife--basically, when I saw her I decided to stop over-anticipating, over-thinking everything. I was able to strike up a conversation just for fun and found out we had many things in common. Not worrying about the outcome, I asked if she would like to go to dinner--I figured I'd just go to have fun--she said YES. We went to dinner and afterward ended up talking all night. I made another date to play pool--again just for fun. We kept dating until we were married later. That was five years ago when I was 30.
I figure that not over-thinking it and not worrying about the outcome enabled me to be more confident in talking to her because I had removed the possibility of being afraid that she might reject me.
So just go have some fun.
