When people can make as much collecting government money as they can busting their dick 40 hours a week guess what they will do?
Is that not a huge issue right now?
And I know you will take that conversation into 'well the government shouldn't have welfare etc' but that would be a whole other issue (that we can't change right now and it is there set in place). It would take years. They'd have to wean it down rather than cut it off cold turkey style or there would be mass riots. Having said that I did not say I agree there should be riots, or that people should purposely be lazy to get govt pay to survive, but it's just simple fact.

I wish I could have lived in the 50's off 1 salary and have yearly vacations despite having only 1 person work, with a regular job, but it's useless,it will never be that way again. If there was no min wage people would commit much more crime, not because everyone is a scumbag, but if an engineer who did everything right gets laid off, and now can only get a shit job (NASA, reality) and makes 3 dollars an hour, and knows well I can steal or have my 3 and 7 year old starve, what do you think this once civilized individual will do to subsidize what he can no longer provide? I don't like that world.

When the Govt takes from people (this includes minimum wage adj) it weakens the natural order. Some people don't cut it. If it's someone that you want to take care if then do it. So the family were mom had to take a job washing dishes and dad still doesn't have a job aren't even taken into account, but we have a president that brazenly says that we have a 6% unemployment rate.
2. He then says - no need to investigate the IRS attacking groups that have Conservative political views. Talk about unapologetic abuse of power!
3. Also drop that Benghazi thing "it's over a year ago" forget the political posturing lead to the deaths of how many Americans and American ambassador!!

No.... If we weren't funding half of the country, then we would have substantially lower taxes or more Government projects paying high worth citizens for their expertise. It ain't complicated. Amazing. If we can not agree that the adjusted purchasing power of the dollar has diminished in the last4 decades then I think we are lost. The average house hold income in 1968 was about 7000. The average house price was about 12000$ or a little less than 2x HHI income. Today's HHI is about 48K$. The average home price just before the 2007 crash was 300K or 6x HHI. There are a lot of forces at work here. Personally the single most beneficial thing we could do right now is have a referendum vote to publicly fund all elections. Get the money out of politics.

When costs have risen like they have, and will continue, at a rate that regular individuals can't keep up with, they will either be completely discouraged to go to school, or take out an astronomical loan out that they can't pay back, either way is not good. Now I know Ch3no will debate how this Country could be better even with no education, but he would also debate the font on this page in not only Not Black, but the socialists ruined ariel font, as well as new times roman font. The thing is I'm not a part of either party, I can see a lot of things, I wanted this president to work, and he hasn't. He failed. I appreciate what you said with certain things. When I did this comparison it was not bc I heard or saw something on tv, it was merely something that I wanted to find out, and share after I saw the results.
The things that get me worked up sometimes that may make me appear to be a dem, is when people compare one shitty president, with another shitty president. To me arguments like that are similar to "well this wasp sting sucks, but because the bee sting was far worse, I like the wasp" That would be an analogy for Obama, and GW. I don't feel I have benefited from either of them. Class and Party wars have been so bad following these two. The debt has steadily climbed upwards. Nothing I need has been easier to achieve.

* Built a 4 bedroom house at 22 years old, that I still live in and has been taxed and all payments have been made
* I have had 14 vehicles that all have been taxed and all but one (current truck) has been paid off
* I have done a lot of schooling, and going back for more despite everything in my way to make it so much more difficult
* I have had almost 11 years in health care for the community, I have pumped on people's chests, I have dealt with trauma's, I have done cardiac cath procedures where a wire is in someone's heart with an active heart attack, I have done diagnostics for hundreds of Operating room cases, I have dealt with new borns to people over 100 and everything in between.
So having that be known, I do not feel like I am special, I chose to do these things, but when things are targeted to me the way they have been, I do get pissed off, way too quickly, and yes it's bad but I didn't mean for this to be a debate, just sharing a documentary I saw, and also a little part of research I did well before ever seeing this document, on my own accord.
I can see a lot of different things from both sides that are ridiculous. I could mention one RT sided thing of recent that a lot of people backed, which was someone trying to evade taxation successfully. That's fucked up, you and I pay taxes so why someone feels they can make a living without tax just because they have been in one area for a long duration is ludicrous to me.
We could literally start a whole new section to see each others opinions on politics.
The difference I see is I like to ask questions and study why people feel the way they do, and maybe be inspired from different points of view. Ch3no, from what I have seen is very stuck and anchored in an unwavering opinion, which means despite influence of a cause he couldn't be swayed despite an outcome.
Anyways it's funny that we all speak like this and in the mean time planet fitness thinks we grunt to each other.
