Are you ever stronger on days you know you shouldn't be?

For instance, the other night, i drank around 6 beers, and ate some trash, lol, then dragged my ass to the gym the next morning (kinda hungover), and got a personal best on shoulder MP's. WTF?? If i have a good night, eat a ton of carbs and protein, and prepare for the gym that morning, im always average in strength, but this other day i wasnt. Its messed up. I wasn't even gonna do shoulder's because i figured i would be weaker than the last time i did them, and i had just benched 1 day ago. Go figure

Yeah, I know what you mean, dude. Days that you drag yourself to the gym knowing that it won't do any good, because you are so tired. Then halfway through your workout you are wondering, "Where did all this energy come from?"

Nothing like working out after a cheat day. I feel fat and disgusting, but dammit I can move some weight on those days.
