Hey guys it's been a while since I've been up here because of school and work, but I plan on putting more effort into staying active up here. Anyways over the last few months that I haven't really been active up here I've made some great gains along with a new body part that I've never seen someone have before. I noticed one day while looking in the mirror that if I flex my core extremely tight that I have the appearance of abs om my back. Has anyone ever seem this before or have this themselves? I think it's cool and love it, but others think it a bit weird haha. I highly dought this is uncommon, but I just wanted to see if it was a common thing?

Lol Abs on your back? Lol no brutha never seen back abs , can u post a photo? And good to see you back daddio!

I've seen a pack of hot dogs on the back of a guys head before, but never back abs???

Sensitive much? I swear to God I was not even thinking about you when I posted that. When I saw your post I almost fell off the couch laughing.

Lol!!! I would've bet my paycheck you were talking about me. One guy at work calls me SOS..... Shar pei on steroids! When I was on days one of the guys would always loudly exclaim that I brought breakfast sausages for everyone!

Here's the best shot I could get of it. Each ab goes in about and inch and are very thick. Guess i need to lay off of the lower back extension machine haha.

I'd get a foam roller and work out the knots in your back. Either that or get a deep tissue massage.

Its not like that all the time it's only when I flex my core. Is this a problem? It's never given me any problems or issues with pain or anything.

That's pretty weird looking I have to be honest. I might have a massage therapist take a look just in case. The erector spinae are not supposed to look like that.

Holy shit bro I thought you were kidding about back abs as that's exactly what they look like! There's defiantly a problem bro I would have that looked at regardless of pain or not

anyone else know what this might be from? some of you suggested it might be knots that can be worked out with deep tissue massage, anyone else? Sorry, lol, but im curious about this , as I have never seen anything like it before!

I would think with knots that size that he would experience spasms, but on the other hand, the erector spinae simply don't develop like that, but look at how uniform they are! Very strange.

I asked my mom who's been a nurse for 30 years and my step dad who's been a surgeon for 25 and they both said its not an issue, but I refuse to believe this and think it is an issue that needs to be fixed or I have the first generation of back abs haha. Soon everyone will have them. When I was in high school I did have lower back issues, but once I started actually working my back out the issue went away and I never noticed this until this year. So I will try and see a massage therapist or doctor sometime next week and hopefully get this resolved.

I actually just remembered seeing that Ronnie from Jersey Shore had the same thing, so I'm not the only one out there with it at least.

That's more like the Christmas tree you want to see back there, his development just sucks.
