You guys see how the Beasty boy band member that passed away in his will he said none of his music to be used for commercials etc. Lawyers for companies are not granting it saying if his living doesnt want the money then o well.. .. What do you think.. Grant his wish or say sorry Charlie and use his material as they wish? I think it's bullshit.. Don't use it..

I dont know what was in any contracts Yauck (sp) had signed while performing on the label, that is, intellectual property rights in the event of his death and all, but I can imagine the strong backlash from fans. All the more reason I support DIY or independant record labels and distributors.
Way back in the day however, all you could sign onto was a subsidiary of a major label in order to get your music out. Indies were very few and far between. Kind of a catch 22
