I drink beer all the time, ultra is ur best bet for taste and low carbs, the alcohol content is the same as bud light. Another interesting fact is that you are better off killing a 12 pack of ultra than eating any meal from Mcdonalds on impulse. It might just be my genes but alchol has never hindered my athletic performance or muscle gains. I know its bad for my health but as long as your eating right all day and training hard a cold beer is much deserved. If you plan on entering BB competitions I suggest you learn to do with out booze, but if not do what you want. Like I said alcohol never hurt my gains, it just made it harder to drag my ass out of bed.

I drank on weekends when I did my year long cycle. I dont think it negatively impacted my progress but there no way to know. I did friday and/or saturday nights but when the week hit I went right back to discipline. I cant complain about 75lb's in a year. I didnt need to completely deprive myself because I wasnt competing and had no plans to. For a competitor I believe total discipline is the way to go with little to no alcohol.

if you don't mind me asking what were you on for a year straight that allowed you to gain 75lbs

Funny thing is my 1st 3 plate squat or 2 1/2 plate bench the night before I was hammered on draught or beer!!
lol
But when I did a few photoshoots 1/2 glass of red wine and 20G creatine I look ripped!
Or more ripped I should say.
