hell yeah bro i agree love throwing around heavy weight on that. I went up to 405 this week. Still weak from taking so much time off after the bicep but im getting it back slowly but surelyteedubgee said:Yeah, I think heavy rack deads (set right below the knee) are the best at building overall back. 495 x 6 today  Wanted to throw the 2.5lb plates on there to make it an even 500, but it was my last set. Oh well, next week right?
im 6'1" and pull deads from the rack one day, and from the ground another. My lower back took a beating, but a belt helped fix half the problem and the chiro fixed the other half.bigwick said:dead lifts out of the rack. anyone else do these. I'm 6-3 so i don't deadlift off the ground to protect my lower back. But i'll get in a squack rack with the safet bars about 15 in. off the ground and rep out some heavy heavy dead lifts.
