think I'm going to break from DC until begining of the new year. My schedual
is so messed up I have to squeeze the workouts in whenever I can and its not
working with the DC. I'm just going to do whatever I feel like that day.
Looking forward to that (start tonight). Will be a nice break for a couple
of week's. Anyone else haveing that 'lack of time problem' this time of
year??

I'm starting to think that the main reason DC works is the fact that you go to failure and try to keep progressing in reps or weight. That's the whole principle behind weightlifting/bodybuilding in the first place. I don't know about the reasoning for the order of the exercises, but I do know that as long as I'm making progress even "DC style," I can see my muscles keep growing. I'd say that as long as you keep making that progress, even with a hard schedule you'll keep getting results albeit a little slower.

My own schedule has forced me to reduce training to two times per week at the moment so I go to the gym on Monday and Thursday. Not very ideal, but I can still do DC workouts or "DC style" workouts and still make progress.

I'm in the same boat bro, I'm going 2 days a week, sticking as close as I can to the DC Bible and doing my best.

do you guys understand the 3 way split? it works the same way, its just 3 workouts instead of 2. so it goes like this A= biceps forearms back W back T ....
B=chest shoulders tri......C=calves hamstrings quads....takes me about 45-60 mins...if some of your guys poundages are high, it might be time to switch.

Lack of time. I call it having a real job, kid and girlfriend...........Everytime I get ready to start something new, workout or whatever I hit the overtime! Im on six tens AGAIN !! Just got off them and was ready to try DC .

I'm thinking about giving this a try. However, I'm not gonna only lift on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, then leaving the weekends off. I think it'll work good if I just workout every other day. That way I won't have to wait 7 days to hit the same muscle group again. What do you think DB?

this actually is mon tues thurs fri, so every week you do something twice...

I understand it DB I just don't have the time which is why I'm basically just cruising into the new year and hopefully I'll be able to hit it and follow the program exactly as the DVD outlines it

Ok cool. I think I remember that from the video. That actually sounds pretty damn good. Thanks man.

I understand the 3 way split. Right now, I have my 1A-C, 2A-C workouts all planned according to the DVD. I just don't have the time this month to go three times a week. It ends up going 1A 1B one week, 2A 2B second week, 3A 3B the third week. Each workout takes me 50-60 minutes. It is slower to do only two workouts in a week, but I don't have any choice right now. My 1C workout really wiped me out yesterday. I have to say...when you do DC right, it is really intense. Still making progress, too.
