I would say Im at a low point as far as caffeine usage but Im still probably in the 500mgs a day range. There have been points where I was well over 1200mgs a day. It just seems that when I can't get motivated to work out it is the only thing that helps. I have read several studies that for someone my size it may even be beneficial to take in up to 800 mgs a day. They have also proven it is less of a diuretic as one thought. Im just wondering how many folks beside me have to get caffeine going within five minutes of waking.

I'm fortunate. I don't use caffeine at all except for preworkout. I don't drink tea, coffee, or soda. Just water.

I went 4 years without it myself at one point. I drank water or juice and occasionally a sports drink.

No, I don't touch it if I can help it. Even a little bit will over-jitter me. I'm just over-sensitive to it for some reason.

Definitely!!

If I don't have caffeine pre-workout, it's just awful. One night two weeks ago I was exhausted and took a nap after work. I forced myself out of bed a couple hours later and went to Dunkin Donuts for my usual pre-workout large black iced coffee with a shot of espresso... EXCEPT I decided "Hmm, let's try decaf tonight and see if it actually makes a difference." Epic fail... I need the caffeine... and I usually take it WITH fat burners.

So yes, caffeine is a requirement for my existence. :)

Hell Yes im addicted to caffine....Its bad to..I probably take in well over 1000mg per day (split up ofcourse) probably more when im in strict diet mode...LOL

No caffeine or any stimulants for me. Like saud, I just get jittery and feel crappy and even a little bit give me trouble sleeping. My drinks are limited to water, milk, and sometimes a little juice.
