I was trying to find a good cardio routine and, i was just wondering what everyone else finds most effective for them.

I run about 3-4 miles every other day

cardio is best 1st thing in the morning on an empty stomach...you will burn more fat at this time...

Just started getting back to doing cardio. I feel great just running for 10 minutes, every day before my dc training routine. I might bump that up to 20 minutes when i get serious.

you need to make sure you keep your heart rate elevated for at least 30minutes to get the fat-burning benefits from cardio...also, make sure you keep your heart in the fat-burning range & you arent over doing it by doing cardiovascular training rather than fat-burning...

alot of ppl think they can do 10 minutes of cardio here & 10 minutes here & then another 10 minutes there...i know that adds up to 30 minutes but it actually takes about 10 minutes just to get warmed up...

I stick with the Incline walking
it really shreds my quads and tightens up your lower back
also you can grind away on your hams and calves

maybe its not the best cardiovascular wise but it does burn some serious calories and gets your legs conditioned

you can do alot with walking on an incline...you can work on keeping your abs extremely tigh; you can really work your ass, hamstings, quads & calves as well...oh yeah, i work on my posing sometimes with doing front double bi, keeping my tri's tight & lat spread...you obviously have to keep your balance & you look a bit funny on the treadmill but you can do it...doing all of that will keep your heart rate up as well...anyone that has ever done any type of posing knows that you will be drenched in sweat after a good posing session...

I've seen lots of people doing this, but never tried it myself. My cardio is pretty intense (for me) and not for long peroids of time. I wll go to a tennis court or the soccer field. On the court I will run around them (4 put together where I live) 10 times to get warmed up and then I'll proceed to running lines on one court, this is starting on the outside line and running across the court touching every line when I come to it and then running back before I go to the next one. I will take a few minutes break and then do the same thing, but with 2 courts. After this I take another few minute break and I'll run a different line drill from the baseline. On the soccer field I will jog along the sidelines and when I get to the end of the field I will sprint across to job the other side and sprint across the other end. I usually will run 10-20 of these. This seems to work really well for me, but I haven't been doing it much since I moved since I'm trying to bulk right now.

Stairs - I would use a long strech of stairs and push hard up then cruise down - repeat, repeat........ Worked great for my wind.

Incline walking for me. Where do you guys keep your heart rate at? I keep mine pretty low, like between 105-115bpm. It was hard for me to get into this, since I wasn't "working" hard enough. It's been workin like a champ though.

Teed I'm going to try that incline walking when I cut down after this bulker...i've never done it before and it looks like it might do something else for my calves especially with the extra weight I'll be carrying around.

Yeah, I like incline walking cuz you could really concentrate on that mind/muscle connection and focus on different parts of your legs when you walk. I personally think they improved the shit out of my calves, but it could jus be in my head.

I've alternated in the past between running and walking and it's a great way to shed BF but not a great "cardio" workout becuase it doens't work your CV system the same. I've also hopped back and forth between the bike and the 'mill because I get bored as hell if i have to sit there for 45 - 60 minutes but if I do 15 minute circuits I can stay fresher mentally
