I am also a long time member at FB. I think it is a great board and I hate to see all the drama going on there. I have decided to just stick around here until the air clears if you guys don't mind. Who knows? I may find a new home!!

hey since Im a newbie over here...I guess I gotta give some advice to become a vet or just be a post whore ...hell,Ive been a member of FB for almost 2 yrs and dont even have 3,000 yet...but people who have been there 6 months have 5,000+...ridiculous!

A good board has good Mods. When Mods are Feds, scammers, dirty, imbeciles, or just plain bad people, boards go down, time and time again. how many have we seen go down lately? Now FB has gone down, and I would venture to say that it is because there were a couple of bad apples who spoiled the whole damn basket. In the end, it is a good thing for the really great bros from the FB. The place got dirty. So it had to come down.

I dont get why it was hacked. As far as I can see that does nothing to solve the problem. Everyone promised to bring evidence to the table and settle the dispute. Now that the board is hacked and shutdown it can not be settled. Then how does everyone know the truth. This just kind of complicated things in my opinion. But then again what do I know.

There was evidence brought to the table. When the Mods got too uncomfortable with the evidence that was being presented, they started deleting threads. Whoever shut it down had no choice but to shut it down, in the end.
I dont know. Maybe it is best for me to just stay out. I really dont know you SDE. From what I have heard you are a standup guy. You have told me about your guy a few months ago. Maybe I just missed the posting of evidence. It is just that small and geared were some of the first bros I met on these boards when I started and ever since they have always helped me out. They have both steered me clear of a scammer. When I was getting scammed I emailed them and other mods from this board. Then after they told me what to do all of the sudden things were taken care of and my gear arrived. These were not guys they refered me to, but they still took time to look into it and help me out. For this I will always stand by them until I see sound evidence. I just dont see any reason in the world they would want to be a part of something shady. They have to much in there name alone to be shady. Too many bro's trust them. It is just too bad this could not have been settled in a diffrent way. Through emails, telephone or something. It just puts a blemish on too many names. You, small and geared are respected by a lot of bro's. Now people will remember this for a good while. I just really feel it could have been settled diffrently. If the FB would have stayed up then I think it could have atleast kept going and both sides would have a chance to put some evidence on the table. Now it looks like evidence is trying to be hidden by the board being taken down. I am not saying this is what is going on, but it will make people see it that way. Again I dont know what is going on so I should just stay out of it. I hope everything gets worked out somehow.
