What the hell - there are like 40 different types of creatine out there now. Different formulas, etc... Creatine monohydrate doesn't work too too well on me... it did the first time 8 years ago. Is there a good supplement out there, that really works phenominal (at least for a legal compound)? If so, push me in the right direction.

Now after reading about muscle milk and that gylcocamine (or whatever it is).. can someone recommend another good protein with a good amount of good fats to help me gain weight? thanks

I don't believe any of that bull about muscle milk I still drink it by the case load personally... I couldn't even find the glyco crap on their label or in their ingredients.

for good protein and creatine supps go to trueprotein.com best source for pure, natural no frills, custom supps.

Why stick with only one formulation of creatine? Experiment around. I started to use Dymatize Xpand, but I found that if I take a little bit of good ol' creatine monohydrate with it and then go work out--Dayum! I get so pumped, the pump lasts for a couple of days.

different brands of creatine provide different results.

I would looke for micronized creatine. its works slightly better for me than regular creatine and CEE.

I'm trying Kre-Akalyn Creatine right now, but don't see much difference than the Ethyl Ester I was taking awhile ago. Ethyl Ester is the cheapest per serving I could find, so I think I'll switch back to that when I'm finished with this bottle.

Talk to the people at your gym that sell the supps and if they don't talk to the people at the local supp. store. They may be able to get you some free samples of some different kinds of creatine to try out. Also, for protein trueprotein.com is one of the best.

It doesn't matter the brand as long as:

- creatine mixes instantly as soon as it hits the water and it has no taste. If it looks like chalk or has taste, that's all the shit it's cut with, even though the label says 100% pure.

- protein (WPI which is what you should be using) will give you NO gas and NO bloat. It should also mix in water almost instantly. If it doesn't mix and if it gives you bloat or gas, again it's from the fillers.

These are the easiest and most efficient ways to tell whether the product you are using is genuine or not. The supplement industry is unregulated, so 99% of companies out there lie on their labels.

also using a sodium buffer (alkaseltzer) with ur creatine helps alot more get into ur system, If you guys do a search here I wrote an article on it many years ago

i've tried explaining this ONE aspect to people and they just can't understand it. "if its on the shelf, it must be honest and good"

people are so gullilble

Its always either unregulated or over regulated by the governamnt , never a good middle ground
