Folks of M.C.

This may be a bit long but your help and any assistance be mostly appreciated. I have already got some advice from Stickler.. Great guy... hes extremely helpful but wanted to get some more opinions from others here too..
What really scared me was when a natural competitive bodybuilder, top ranked guy got me in a panic and told me to come off my CKD diet one time because I was killing myself and Im in a dangerous situation..it wasnt like I been on this for a whole year or more.. Even though I know guys have done that..

My body hasnt shown any signs of ill health .. I havent done blood works....

And the most important thing, I HAVE been CONSUMING decent carbs in post workout.. So Im not into STRICT KETO as per se.. I think the longest I been on CKD was approx from July 2007- till Nov so thats relatively short period...Can one maintain this sort of CKD diet for say, 40 weeks? I think it can be done... I dont beleive in Atkins crap and all that... I do know the importance of carbs...

MY WORKOUT
Here is my typical workout schedule which goes on a 8 day cycle..This is a very customised routine that works best for me based on a long time of trial and error and also with varying muscle group weakness and strengths. The "Rest" days are the days I do my HIIT cardio follwed by a very brief but intense accessory training ( calves or forearms or abs) .

During the months of October and Sept 2007, I also did an ADDED HIIT session at lunch time in the form of heavy bag punching.. And even a session of bag on my workout days too..

I have maintained the heavy compounds in all my workouts... In fact, my training couldnt be going any better Bro.. squatting, deadlifting and heavy curling are still a joy.. Maybe im crazy..

And I swear im gaining more muscle....

Well.. As you see, Even being natural, im hitting it HARD.. I swear if I went on a cycle with the help of you and the other BOYS of M.C. I think my genetics will simply make me blow up big time.. I look forward to the support of you guys!

It seems my body always get stuck at 10% b.f. I am not gonna give up .. I need to really cut down to single digit.. I have the determination and the discipline to diet as long as it takes.. I just think I may have been doing myself a bit more harm than good by dieting too long..

As we speak, I have come off my diet and I ate some oats this morning and even rice through the day! I may do this for another few weeks.

MY EATING PLAN

I started as of July 4th 2007. my diet was a pure zero carb and a controlled carb up on a Sundays with the preceding intense carb depletion workout.. I could NEVER do low carb stuff since I feel so lethargic and no energy.

So through the week this will be my typical eating plan

Meal 1 6-7 egg whites/ whey protein shake
1 scoop of Flora Fast Food Blend in Water

Meal 2 - 2 tins Tuna Chunks in Water :puke:

meal 3 - Chicken Thighs Grilled / Cucumbers sprinkled Chopped hot Peppers

meal 4 - 2 tins of Tuna CHunks in Water :puke:

Meal 5 POST WORKOUT - 30-40 gms gms of cooked rice/ breast of chicken eaten OR 2 glasses of freshly squeesed orange juice/ True protein...

Meal 6 - Ground Beef/ Cucumbers / granished with raw Hot peppers

Meal 7 - Egg Shake ( 6-7 egg whites)

Supplements - 3-5 gms Vitamin C, Mens Multi Vitamin/Minerals ( MediHerb of Australia), Udos Oil Blend , 5-10 gms BCAA Boost, glutamine, 1 clove of garlic nightly.. Also, at least 3 times a week, beans and peas such as lentils, kidney beans and guapa, garbanzo etc . I live in the Caribbean ;)

As of November 2007, I took 10 days off on a cruise and ate fairly good quality food and a bit over maintenance.. Then I went back on my CKD..

I then started taking an ECA stack ( thermal Pro) .. Only one capsule a day which was more than sufficient! I also got onto syntheselen/synthetine combo which I think is tremendous.....

Once a month, I used to take a Swiss made formula blood purifier with burdock etc etc.

On weekends, I will do an intense pre carb workout in the morning and then consume things like frosted flaked and milk and cookies for breakfast or toast and blue berry pan cakes . then through the rest of the day was a bit of rice, pasta and maybe some noodles or whatever folks or myself make over the weekend such as pasta/ meat balls, flame broiled burgers, garlic butter grill shrimp or red snapper etc,, lean pork chops ALL IN MODERATION... dont care for fried or greasey foods.
Thats it guys... Any help will be much appreciated. I may resume this protocol as of March for 12 weeks again and see where it gets me.
Present Stats 27 yo. Male, 6ft, 205 lbs, 48 c, 17.5, 30 w, 27.5 q,

bud, I am probably one of the worst guys on here to help with diet issues. But there are some very knowledgable guys on here about diets. I'm sorry I couldn't be of more help here, but I'll bump it up.

His diet is as clean as i've ever seen (especially for cutting), and if it's regimented and not tarnished, ...... shit.... that's money... i want to be able to eat the same shit every day and not get bored of my meals.... he wants to hit single digits on BF, and he's extremely natural.... i give him huge props.

The ONLY thing that bothers me is this.... he has never had blood values taken which bothers me on the liver count, and of course liver failure.... and something he didn't mention... is outside of expense... he can get GH from a doc's script... which of course would help him hit his single digit BF values. .... t EXCEPT he would have to change his diet to ensure his sugar values and insulin values didn't get whacked....

point it... with NO alternative medicines..... what do you think on this... if there are ANY doctors in the house.. do NOT be afraid to talk... because outside of research and of course personal experience with MY body type.... I can only put in SO much...

please respond.... so everything can be taken into concideration....

and oh yeah.. thanks Bulking.... I appreciate the compliment....

I dont actually diet anymore. I just eat clean, high protien, low fats and adjust carbs
according to whats in the mirror. I'm bumping this cus some of our guys can give
you better input. The closest thing I came to your diet (when I was younger - about your
age) was a carb depletion diet with a pre-exaust workout. My workout was 7 days
(forget how I broke it up) but for example on chest I would do dumbell flys on the
bench - heavy untill failure - then grab the barbell and do barbell bench until failure.
(I had to get over the light weight on the bench). All body parts were done like this.
My diet was NO carbs for 5 days, just protien and fats. On the last two days I would
carb overload. Eat anything and as much of it as I could, actually try to stuff myself.
The theory was that with this workout and carb depleation the muscles were screaming for carbs and would suck up all I gave them. I have to laugh cus my first
meal was always a couple orders of banana pancakes and a picture of coke. Now that
was carbs!!. I kept this diet strict for about 3 months. Close to the end of that time
I was starting to see spots by the fifth day of depleation and couldn't concentrate on
anything but "banana pancakes and coke". I got real lean. I know I hit single
figure on bodyfat. God, I remember eating those tins of tuna plain. lol
Keep us posted on what and how you do. Like stickler said, everyone is a little
different on what and how they react. Any of you competiters got any input?

Thanks alot guys for the input!

I will say my eating plan is more a TARGETED keto rather than cyclical because my post workout always had a ''fair amount'' of carbs... Simply because i have an intense cardio routine too. Cardio 2x a day , 7 days a week and that includes punching bag cardio on my weight training days... Those extra carbs keep me filled and from looking flat like a pancake... You guys ok with those carbs Im consuming post workout then?

Oh, that 4 tins of tuna daily is a nightmare but you know the smoked tuna chunks, are actually quite palatable...

As of March 1st, I plan to get back on my cutting routine and lets see how it goes for 12 weeks. I am determined to hit single digit b.f. , hopefully I still have SOME muscle left and not withered away to vapour! UGH! As for the g.h. im actually thinking of not using it. I want to challenge myself and see if I can do it without that.. ;)
