Well I was expecting a gift in the mail, but customs got involved. Luckly I got the mail today, my girlfriend would have killed me if she saw a letter from them! For those of you that have experienced this, after I sign the paper abandoning the gift, is that it? Do I hear from them again?

I wasn't sure if I wanted my friend to resend the gift or not. If I do, I am going to get a PO box. Could I open a PO box without my name being assoicated or anyone elses name for that matter? Could I use a business name for the PO box, that way if the gift does not make it again, my name is not on customs' list twice in a month....

one of two things or both will happen....ewither your address will be flagged and you will not get anything or your address will be flagged and you might be set up as a part of ap[osable sting opperation....once is considered a fluke and maybe a mistake but on the second try it means there is a pattern developing and you are gonna get it....set up a PO box either in your name or a business....dnt trust anyone....

unless you have another way of setting up a business.....you sill treat it like a home delivery.....if you get suspicious then dont pick it up.....i cna get to my pobox 24hrs aday any day of thewek....so i just make it a habbit to go after hours and allways wait until its been a few days to a week after delivery

either way your asking for trouble, just dont be ordering from overseas anymore, simple and dont tell us about it if you do, they bust you they get your comp and it leads here and you asking about it..bad idea.

I haven't signed the letter. In the letter it gives you two options:

The first option is you agree to voluntarily abandon the imported controlled substance. By checking that option you waive the rights and interest relative to the property including filing any claims for the return of the property.

The second option is you contest the seizure of the property. By selecting this option, you agree that you have interest in the property seized and you wish to proceed with legal process.

I am not going to select the second option and would assume I have to select something and send it back, am I wrong with that assumption?

I wouldn't be surprised if some cons out there send forged letters. Either way I don't think I'd be mail ordering Narcotics. They can also be loaded with tons of bio-chemicals. Many people hate Americans. Find a close buddy whos family is foriegn. Just my opinion. Don't think you can outsmart by getting a PO.

never order anything outside this country ! especially nowadays!never sign anything! and I know many people who have recieved this letter and they all just took the loss, never signed nothing and never heard from them again!years later still ordering gear but from different locations in the USA not a problem if u are a big fish become a minnow chances are u are paranoid and your mind is thinking to much at once,and unless u compete whats the use just to look big?even if u do compete the chances ara a millon to one you will ever get rich unless you are jay cutler or big ron but even big ron isn,t rich-rich and jay has other attacments like his contruction bussiness and real estate!! a little test never hurts thought!!!!

In another thread at another time, someone said something about a box at the UPS store instead of a regular PO box--you might want to do a search for that article.

nicely put OPTB I agree, you should check out legal muscle by rick collins, the book gives you all the legal information you could ever want, i have been reading it and have read alot of great things that are tooooooooooooo helpful!!!!. Just to let you know a little trick "THERE ARE NO K-9 DOGS IN AMERICA TRAINED TO SMELL ANABOLICS".....i thought that little bit was cool, good stuff to know in there, and anyone and everyone should read it before even thinking about buying or mail ordering gear
