I can only get about 270, I have just started doing dead lifts a few weeks ago, I have always avoided them since I had a major back injury years ago.

Since I have started them my back feels better than ever!
 
I got 420 when i was 18 at 165lbs .Hell i am 38 now and weight 205 i have not dead lift in years.I just imaging 420 would brake my back now LOL.I plan to start back this winter to pac some more size to my legs
 
Today I pulled 565 for 6 reps. The first is always the hardest, but once you get to actually feel the weight, a coupla reps after the first don't seem near as heavy.

By the way, I'm 6'1 and 235.
