My heart rate always increases after a big meal which is mostly normal. About once a week i get the flutter feeling in my chest almost like you need to cough. I know it can be caused by stimulants etc. Anyone else get these? Feels weird. Ive gotten checked out at the doc before and he said if they are that short which they usually are like 4 seconds max then im fine its when they are persistent that you may have an underlying condition.

i have had them before. Either to much caffeine or other stimulants. Im not a big fan of clen for this reason.

Did he give you an EKG? Best test to take and it's fast. Some of my meds cause palpitations but there's no avoiding that. I'd say get an EKG to be on the safe side. Did he take your blood pressure?

Is an ekg the one where they put the little rubber things all over your chest and side or whatever and print out something in a minute or so? If so yes he did one and said everything looked perfect. I check my bp about 4 times a week or more. Just took it this morning was 125/76 resting pulse is 62.

Im on lexapro 10mg a day and clariton these are my only meds. Besides 800 mg's of test :).

thats a damn good heart rate while being on test!!

:) i know im happy with it i usually go up and stay at about 75 or 80 but its staying good. Taking a couple weeks off from stimulants all im on right now is a cup of coffee.

Oh yeah then you're fine it's prob just the stimulants. If the EKG was fine, nothing to worry about. Your BP is fine too. No worries.

Just feels weird lol feels like theres a butterfly in my chest for a few seconds then its gone.

Yeah I get that too. It's my meds and also stimulants when I first take them. After awhile they stop, but for a couple weeks I get the little fluttering. Common, not to worry. Now, my bro in law Matthew is pissed I take stimulants, but he shouldn't talk cuz sometimes he's on a 20 hour transplant schedule so he's having like 10 cups of coffee a day. High test coffee too I'm talking like espresso. He sends some from Trader Joe's. Effin Trader Joe's rocks. Best everything! But he sends his super strong coffee from TJ's.

I get them when I lay on my back sometimes. Only then though. I think mine may be mitrovalve prolapse because my sister has it and she explains it the same way.

I get heart palps DAILY.. and have for as long as I can remember.. feels like your heart stops.. skips a beat then slams hard and you feel it in your throat, and if you feel your pulse you can actually FEEL the heart stop and then start kinda thing.. RIGHT???

I don't think it's anything to be worried about honestly.. you know what I do to cure it.. SUGAR. So I have equated it to LOW-BLOOD SUGAR.

I used to go to the ER regularly because I swore there was something wrong with my heart.. I had every possible test done known to the medical field to test my heart.. and IT IS PERFECT !! Ekg, stress tests, MRI, ct scan w/ contrast, bloodwork... all checked nominal..

They chalked it up as "PANIC ATTACKS" and upped my benzodiazipine intake.. but, i still get them daily .. they just don't freak me out as bad anymore...

Sorry I know this thread is a month old, but I'm having this same issue. Ive been taking about 500mg a week of test e for a little over four weeks now. Im only 30 and haven been getting these fairly often since I began my cycle. I went to the doctor today and an ekg was ran and they said all was well but it wasnt doing it at the time either. I thought I was search here when I came across this thread. I was debating ending my cycle but wasnt sure if this was a serisous issue. Since it is my first cycle it has certainly freaked me out.

I've been in and out of the hospital and doc with something similar for 4 months. Mine was so bad to the point I couldn't sleep at night. My heart would constantly race, I would get shortness of breath, lightheaded, feel like I was just going to collapse. First it was thought to be just anxiety (Ive been on Zoloft for like 8 years but actually stopped taking it now) it seemed to get better once i stopped the zoloft, so I assumed ok side effects of the Zoloft all of a sudden. Well within 2 weeks it was back again, went to the doc, more xrays, ekg's,bloodwork etc.. everything normal yet these heart problems still existed. Finally after 4 months I was diagnosed with Costocondritous in my chest, stopped working out chest for a few weeks and sure enough, not one issue. Moral of the story, if you think it's your heart, it most likely isn't if your doc has already ruled out potential heart problems. It's probably some muscle spasms, anxiety and or other issues around your chest.

thats pretty much what ive been experiencing. Although i dont feel any physical pain, the other night was the first time i almost passed out. thats what triggered me going to the doctor. It just started when I started my cycle although ive always had a shortness of breath issue for years.

i usually get them later on in the day, about 2 hours after training...

when the stimulants wear off and after a few big meals i get'em

I've heard that EQ can give you palpitations because it thickens the blood.

I used to get them when I would think about it; I stopped thinking about it and seems to have gone away. :cardio:
