Do most of you prepare all of your meals for the week on sunday? I used to at least prepare then through wednesday but nowadays i just get them ready the night before it seems. Whats your favorite method?

never realy did this, i know alot of guys do sundays and wednesday for preparing their meals, i guess if u just did sunday ur meal would be nasty by friday depending on what it was i guess

I was doing the sunday thing when I was dieting last year (Jan-June) and it SUCKED! By Wed/Thurs, I didnt want the shit anymore but it was what I had to eat so I sucked it down. I start my new diet again soon and I don't know what I'm gonna do... suck it up, I guess. I'm not looking forward to it... Dry chicken = blehhhh! That's why I eat it cold now. Much better than reheating it and making it even drier... I need to find a better method!

Only thing i really i make ahead of time is my meatloaf. I make 8 servings and make it again whenever i run out. Im making it today infact.

A huge stock pot of turkey chili. A stock pot of Salsbury Hamburger Helper (turkey substituted and doubled) with added red and green bell peppers and 1 red onion:thumbsup:. Plenty of cooked brown rice on hand. I also make a ton of Pico de Gallo salsa and Mississippi Caviar to keep my veggie uptake in line. The MissCav is good in omlets. I also make a chicken, brocolli and brown rice casserole occasionally.
I picked up a ton of 8oz. Glad containers that I portion out and run a rotation from freezer to fridge. As for cooking chicken or steak, I'll grill it up on the George Foreman at the time. I hardly ever cook and refridge steak or chicken. I'll try to post up a couple recipes in the future.

Got a good recipe to share??
Im sure that normal wont mind me posting this here

My purpose here is to have something very filling, yet simple and loaded with protein, good green veggies and very little carbs.

carb total is 58 (not including protein mix for binder). This will equate to a little over 7 grams of carbs per serving.

This thing will fit inside a casserole dish (approx. 12x6) Cut it up into 8 different servings, each serving providing 45 grams of protein. Freeze what you cant eat in 3 days. Microwave frozen portion for 6 minutes and its ready to serve.

I like mine with just ketchup :P

3lbs of 90/10 beef
2 cups of broccoli (21 grams of carbs- 1/2 of that is fiber)
2 cups of asparagus (16 grams of carbs- 1/2 of that is fiber)
1 lb of chopped mushrooms (6 grams of carbs)
3/4 of large Spanish onion (10 grams of carbs)
5 cloves of garlic (5 grams of carbs)
5 full eggs
4 scoops of cooking whey protein (binder)

meat alone has:
2400 cals
132 grams of fat
276 grams of protein

dont cook any of the veggies prior, or you will have to drain the water out. Its just easier to cut them up nice and fine, and mix everything together. They come out just right like this. Only thing i forgot here was spinach.

cook for an hour at 425. make sure you dont let the meatloaf stand to tall or it wont fully cook in the center.
