My right pec is slightly smaller than the left, though I've been able to bring it up closer. It is still lacking in the upper chest area though. Nothing I've done has been working to target that area. I've attached an image that shows the area I'm having trouble with.

Question is, should I try working with a single dumbbell or a cable machine only on that side in addition to what I do for chest or should I just use exercises that use dumbbells or cables for a while so that my right side isn't being helped by the left?

You could try using an incline bench and the cable machine at the end of your workout bust out 3 sets of incline cable fly's with only your right side. It will be difficult at first to do it right or feel weird but i would think that would help little by little anyways. I have a problem with my left lat not being as full and i think im gonna do something similar at the end on back days.

id say use a hammer strength incline

do your full sets, the at the end do a burn out set, followed by an couple extra halfs to promote more volume

Ive wondered this with my left arm. No matter how much I concentrate on focusing on it and contracting it it still has not caught up either. Its close to an inch difference.

try 5 mid range reps, 5 half reps, and then 5 full contractions all in one set ... with a spotter and a good amount of weight.

Sauds, and JT, in both of your instances, these are good examples where Synthenol, can and would be a very good asset. I have used it only once to increase bicep peak, and it worked really good. It should be used while "on cycle", and its also a quick fix to lagging muscle groups. Personally, I dont like the stuff as it could get addictive to seeing fast increases in size, but used in moderation, and for temporary periods of time, it can pre stretch muscle fascia, and allow for that muscle to grow much easier. Do your research first, and learn all the pro's vs. cons, and see if its right for you. Also, in my opinion, you do not need as much solution, as the manufacturer will recommend. Good luck, I am sure other users will testify to the positivity of that shit.

Well, I have used syntherol before so I can attest that it really works, but I'm just thinking of the difficulty trying to inject into such a shallow muscle, not to mention the pain. Eh, I guess I'm just being a wuss about it, so maybe I'll do it after all.

The incline cable flyes will probably target that muscle pretty well. As long as I can feel that muscle being hit, I think it will catch up.

Thanks for all the responses.

Sauds, no problem. The syntherol will allow that tight muscle fascia the needed pre softening and stretch, and while "on" you should have a much easier time working, pumping, and growing that area of the chest. 1/2" pin is all thats needed for that area. Re read my post, no need to get crazy with that oil, as it will look natural if you dont over do it, and rotate inj spots. Just make sure to really work on rubbing it in, and spreading it out. One bottle is more than enough. Best of luck, oh, and dont get scared if you get a real bleeder!!!!! LOL, its happened to me in that area, and I usually get all wigged out over it.
