Good Fruits?Bad Fruits?

What are a list of good fruits? Ive been watching my diet like a hawk lately and have been HUNGRY AS HELL. Tryin to keep food as clean as possible. My stomach feels empty 24/7 so Ive been trying to keep some food in there at all times, I will pace myself to eat 1 pack of peanuts, boy is that fun, 1 pack of peanuts in an hour! Ive also been throwing in LOTS of lettuce with most meals, making salads, tuna, chicken, steak, just for the extra food to fill my stomach. What are good fruits? Ive been hammering apples and bannanas like two of each a day. What are better in the AM/PM? I feel guilty eating apples at night cause I know they have a lot of sugar, or am I wrong? Are fruits good all the time? More info. needed, thanks!
 
Instead of iceberg lettuce which has NO nutritional value have spinach leaves instead. Its fiber packed so its better and it will help fill you up. As for hunger probelms add some healthy fats and that will help. When yi diet i stay away from fruits since its full of sugars.
 
Agreed, too much sugar. Being hungry is a good thing, your burning fat. Sucks don't it. Eat more lean meat, yes its expensive.
 
Ok, now I am confused about fruits. I thought that as long as you ate the fruit with skin and pulp if it applys. Then its a healthy snack. So if you are cutting this is no good or what?

Absolutely! I cut all fruit when I'm trying to lean out...occasionally I will eat 1/2 of a ruby red grapefruit if I am having uncontrollable cravings! LOL

Fruit is FULL of sugar...if you are cutting then you need to avoid sugar, therefore you need to avoid fruit....:)
 
Couldnt have put it better myself Missy. Instead of eating Fruit EAT dark green veggies there high in fiber and that is vital when dieting down. You should be getting 30 grams a day.
 
not even an apple loaded with natty peanut butter in the morning? Whats worst, sugar or carbs? Man, I love fruit! Its easier to tote along a pack of peanuts and an apple than a salad and a piece of chicken!
 
You'll not loose fat eating peanuts and fruit. Sugar and carbs are one of the same. Damn, try the 50/25/25, its all you'll need to loose at least 2-3 lbs of fat a week. I keep trying to tell ya man. Get rid of the damn peanuts. Everything you eat can be looked up on-line clear down to a granny smith apple. There really is not secrets to diets and the basic metabolism functions can be learned quick. It's more important than the gear brotha. Theres probably as many carbs in 12oz. of apple juice as there is in a pop. The 50/25/25 will allow you to take in alot of needed protein while loosing. I accidentally bought creatine the other day that has 39 grams of sugar per scoop, the little things add up.

Heres what I did today down to a T
7:30am 40gram shake first thing AM
lifted (no cardio today, shoulders)
10am 40g shake immediately afterwork out
11:30am salad w/2pieces of lunch meat ham cut up and 3 boiled eggs +
2pm 8oz chicken breast + half a can of green peas
4:30pm 8oz chicken cut up into salad w/one boiled egg, both salads have NO croutons and carb free dressing, I use about 2TBSP + an apple
7:30 20g tuna packet and pack of peanuts
10pm bannana and 40g protein shake
What do I need to add, take away, change? I feel like Im wasting my time until I get my diet down packed. I weighed in at 187 this morning. Ill be at 185 tommorrow Im sure. Ill make it through this weekend.
 
Who wants to be first to be the new BEEF JERKY retailer of MC? We need one! That would be AWESOME! 4oz of beef jerky for 4.99$ JESUS, if anyone is intrested Id be willing to go 8$ a pound on beef jerky!
 
That looks really good. I'd loose the peanuts and banana though. If you stick to a diet like that you'll loose BF. I wouldn't be watching the scales for advice however when using. Also don't forget your going to drop water and additional pounds when OFF. You may have very easily lost over 5 pounds of fat already and don't know it. It's not going to show up on the scales right yet.
 
I eat fruits and always will. The sugar is not as bad as most of you people say it is since it's natural sugars and not the manufactured, cheap sugar. Tho it is still sugar, it's not quite as bad. Also, fruits aren't just loaded with sugar, they're LOADED with vitamins and minerals that absorb better than any of your multivitamins. I don't ever planning on stepping on stage. I plan to look good but not to sacrifice my overall health doing so....

Sugars are simple carbs
 
Also, many fruits are negative calories (takes more calories to digest the food than they contain). Same goes for even more veggies.
 
Crazy your right, fruits are good for you. They are however a source of energy. When shaving fat the idea is to get energy from stored fat cells. Some fruits like grapefruit would be considered a good choice.
 
Ruby Red Grapefruit.....the reg grapefruit is weighted down in sugar! LOL I agree with optimal...cut the nuts and fruit out...also...I would switch from the canned peas to fresh or frozen peas...you might as well be pouring a salt shaker down your throat. And get rid of the "No carb" dressing...read the ingredients and you'll see that there is all kinds of man made crap in that bottle...if you can't pronounce it, I'm sure your body will have a hard time digesting it...LOL

The salt in the tuna is fine....just increase your water intake...the more water you drink...the more water you will lose.

I disagree if you must have sugar, fruit is the way to go. Stay away from processed/refined sugar and go with fruits (natural sugar) if you are craving sugar.
 
Misfit thanks for the correction. I never looked grapefruit up because I hate it. I've always heard its like eating nothing when on a diet but then again I'm the one always preachin don't believe what you hear. Thanks

Craving sugar when cutting is the very reason not to eat it. The more stored fat you burn the more your cravings will increase. You should always have your body screaming for carbs when cutting. No-body said cutting wasn't from the pits of hell. Sometimes I feel like murdering someone I need sweets so bad.

Ive gotten to the mind set that chocolate or anything close to it is like taking a neelde to the eye. I run from chocolate, potatoe chips, pizza, etc. or anything else that I know is no good. Since Ive reached this mindset, I want to be sure to go all out. Just want to say thanks optimum, Im pointed in the right direction! If Im eating 100% pure one day and take down an apple, and its holding me back from 100% I feel as if I have failed that whole day away. Im my stomach is going to be hurting I might as well go all out. I dont crave carbs, carbs are the devil! I just really really like peanut butter, when bulking I put down 3 jars of peanut butter a week. I miss it so much. Went to the store got 4x6=24, ok 24 8 oz chicken breasts for 20$ cant beat that, some spinach and brocolli too! God help me make it through the weekend!
