Has anyone done laser hair removal?

Has anyone any experience with the laser hair removal method? There is a place near my home that offers it so I was considering saving up to do it for a couple of areas on me. I have decent contrast between the color of hair to skin so I think it would work well.

Save your money bro, honestly........ I got my back done a year or so ago, it took 5 treatments at $150 per session and I still have probably over 75% of the hair on my back it only nuked 25% and at $750 it was hardly worth it... not to mention the pain is close to unbearable. I think its about 3x worst then getting a tattoo. Save your $$$ and stock up on mach 3 blades.

Yea I'm probably the hairest man alive. Its dark and its thick all over, but mach 3's do the job for maybe a day for me lol then the shadow comes. But if you shave and get a good tan it looks better longer.

I've heard the pain is is ungodly but I hear it works great. I plan to stick out for another 10 years though until technology picks up in that department. Until then I buy my Mach 3's in 100 lots off ebay for 100 bucks. oh yeah, and nair

Damn, I was hoping it wouldn't be too bad to do laser removal. Right now, I just use an electric razor (sideburns clipper part, not the part you normally use on your face) to buzz it down to really short stubble. I'm a hairy beast (hair all over the back) so my wife has to help me shave my back. If I use a Mach 3, I get ingrown hair something awful.

im not that hairy yet my legs and arms are i keep my arms shaved with a razor and my legs trimmed really short my chest and back arent too bad yet. Though i wouldnt mind getting my ass hair removed haha.

I've hear mixed reviews, one of my boys here at the office just got his back lazered again for the 3rd time and he never has any pain. He has Black hair and white skin so there's lots of contrast. He says it's never painful for him... my back is basically hairless except for a few randoms and my chest isn't too bad but I can tell it's all getting hairier and hairier.

We're talking about laser hair removal. I've heard you have to have a lot of contrast between the hair color and the skin for it to be really effective. I do have a lot of contrast which is why I wanted to try it.

So, I take it that you have done it? How effective has it been for you?

i too have heard mixed reviews, most claim that its clears up about 40 % of the hair depending of how hairy you are, but considering the price , id rather shave

no I haven't tried it yet but I'm thinking about it, I've heard that the thicker and darker the hair the less effective...if that's the case I'm shit out of luck
