I Hate Scary movies!!!!

i dont care who makes fun of me or what, ill admitt it here and now, i hate scary movies.....i hate um, all of um.

my woman always wants to watch one, i cant do it....im a big pussy, and its not so much that their scary at the moment im watching um, but when i fall asleep, i get nightmares. i have to sleep with the covers over my head Lol.

as tough as i think i am some times, horror flicks aint for me.

has anyone seen the movie quarintine? scared the shit out of me......them damn Zombies running up the stares screaming AAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!!! Fuck that!!!

BTW, I love scary movies, but I took my gf to see that dumb shit movie Drag Me to Hell. There's a lot of scenes that'll try to make you jump, well she was holding the popcorn and it went all over me and some punk in front of me, was waiting for him to turn around and say something dumb, but he never did. That's the last time she has been allowed to hold the popcorn

I don't watch them because all they are is gore...I don't find anything interesting or even scary about a movie that's impact is all about the destruction of the human body?! I mean...how many ways do we have to see people torn, blown, ripped, sawn apart before we have had enough. I know this won't be a popular position with many of you, but whatever. LOL
Honestly though...this is why our children are so desensitized to violence...they can see it anytime and nothing really bothers them anymore. Sorry guys, but this is coming from a dad...don't want my kids seeing this crap.

I agree with most of it, it's the same stuff more or less in all the movies, just different plots. I don't know if there's anyway to get creative or not, but I can understand why you feel the way you do

I agree here, I dislike these movies too. I hate senseless killings or horror killings. Brutality to human-beings and such is something that I could never get into. I too get bad dreams, and till this day some shit will stick in my head. Like internet videos or pics that show graphic details, stuff of this nature really does damage to me and messes with my head. It don't bother me at all in the day, but at night when I try to sleep, my mind goes a mile a min. and I'm a hot mess tossing and turning in the bed, bumping into my own self!
But, a real epic war flick is what I love, go fricken figure.
