a log is not only good for other users it'll also help you look back at where you applied it last and what your results where on which days etc. check against your weight, strength gains etc.
I know a lot of my users who thought they didn't see any real gains from it and then looked at their logs and saw strength increases, fat loss and weight gain in small amounts but all during the same period of time.
