It it possible that i can never put muscle on?????? Ive been dieting and lots boxing for the past 6 months, i am 5'7" and weight 165lbs i still have a good few pounds of fat to shift rounf my stomach.

I have been training for 6 years and feel it has been a waste of time as i am the same weight i was when i was 13 and now im bloody 27, I have always thought i was a hard gainer but it is possible to not be able to gain at all??????????

Your parents have a lot to do with it. Everyone is not going to be heavyweights. Take your genetics and perfect them to their best for what you want to accomplish. There are so many different ways to train for what you want to accomplish. Look at Bruce Lee's example, fastest I'm still yet to see from his suite and tie examples in the old documentaries. Lord knows he trained his ass off.

Dont know much about your diet but im sure that has something to do with it. Hows it looking? Are you switching up your routines every once in awhile. I had the same problem when I was younger, I just could not put on any muscle without using gear, so I went in to the doc and I had low test levels.

Firstly thank you guys very much for your response!

My diet has changed over the years where in the begining it was just eat as much as possible every 2 to 3 hours with a base of high carbs and protien with weight gainers in between. I then hit my first cycle about a year or 2 after my training begun and i pretty much rocketed up in weight and strength.

Since then i have done maybe 1 or 2 cycles a year with igf(Deca, Sust, Anadrol, d-bol, Cyp, Prop, Clomid, Nolva) and the results have pretty much been heart breaking.

I get a lot of colds and feel i get worn out quite easily, ive been to the doctors on so many occasions but same old story "do somthing else for a hobby"

Like i say i ill loose a few more pounds and i will look and weigh the same as i did when i was 13 years old. How is this possible???????

bigworm hows training going now and are you on hrt or anything????

That sucks bro. Im only 5'8 and I finally wiegh 190 consistantly. It seems like it took forever for me to get past 165, so I know how ya feel. Ive been eating ALL the time, and I hate It, but if it wasnt for that, I would be back to 160's for sure! Maybe you need to re-evaluate your diet again?? Good luck

If you eat all the time and still don't gain wieght look into both the physical and mental state of your being. Seriously, how about your parents? What about your anxiety levels? How well do you sleep? Do you overtrain? Work manual Labor? Some people need to workout only like 4-5 hours a week, then sit around most of the day while at the same time sleeping 10-12 hrs. a night. Most of the calories you burn are not in the gym. Almost 1/2 comes from nothing but your body staying alive, hence breathing, heatbeat, organ function, ect. theres a much deeper science to quality gains than just eating good and hard workouts. Don't believe everything you read, sometimes its better to think for yourself and take a much more common sense approach. After all its your body, you live live with it, no-one knows what it wants more than you...........

A lot of people make their biggest wieght gains after they get married and have kids,,,,,,,,think about why that is? Less sex, more time at home, more meals, no more running around with friends.

i do, but my friends and girlfriend always bust my balls, and say im trying to show off, because they are all FAT, well not so much the girlfriend, lol

Bro, I used to think that I couldn't gain weight, but you just need to give it time and food. If you aren't gaining weight or you keep losing all your weight off-cycle then you aren't eating enough.

have you had your thyroid or test levels checked by your doc, post up your typical daily diet and be 1000% honest..i know alot of dudes think they are eating enough but the fact of the matter they arent, then when they post there diet they post what they "think" we would want them to say...you may wanna look into runnin hgh year round and cycle on and off reglar gear.that really helped me gain size and maintain it much easier, i truly feel it was the hgh that changed my bodies natural LBM

Once again a big thanks to all the comments left here.

My diet now is different as i train for boxing now rather than putting on mass, so since i stopped eating so much i really thought i would have seen some results from all the training i do and have been doing.

Ive just had my blood taken this morning and hope it will come up with somthing.

Anyways thanks again for all the input, Im gonna carry on training with the primary objective be to fight. I have no doubt i will be back in the gym at some point though trying my little heart out to put on a couple of pounds of quality beef.

I was the same, too. I had low test levels, and now I've been on HRT for almost 9 years. It literally changed my life.

Your not going to get size from the boxing. I was/am a hard gainer also. I had to
be consistant with heavy workouts and when I would make small gains was when I
went to the point of planing and LOGGING everything I ate - I was shooting for at
least 300 grams of protien a day. During those times I would gain mabey 3-4 lbs
of muscle. By keeping up the workouts I would hold on the that weight Until I
got fustrated enough to do it again. It came slow but it came. There could always
be other factors like mentioned above. What I am trying to say is DIET and
consistant training (and not always doing same workout) is deffinitly needed for
most of us for even small gains. keep us posted.

i fight too (MMA) and gaining is very hard i used to fight in the heavy weight class and i had to consume massive amounts of cals just to maintain my weight when training for a fight.. i dropped weight classes to light heavy and its been much easier but still a bitch since i have to do so much different training in one day, aas helps though LOL same with peptides

How are you coming along brutal?

Well i got my test levels back and they are 17.5 Nanomoles/ltr

Not sure what that is in Nanograms? I think ive converted it to 500???? But not really sure!

My doctor tels me this is totally normal and average, After doing my research i have found for a 40 y/o male 23 Nanomoles is average and for A 75 Y/O male 13 Nanomoles is average, So basically ive got test levels closer to a 75 y/o male than a 40 y/o male and im only fucking 26.

My doctor really is plainly put a complete tit!! And i really dont see much help coming from them.

After reading the symptoms of low test levels i have nearly all of them except the low sex drive. Ill be back in the docs on Monday to see what i can get out of it???

and make sure you read up on all the symptoms of low test levels and tell your Doctor you have all of them, including the low sex drive, play it up a bit for him if you need to and tell him you need a change

Hey--I don't know your whole story but you need blood work to look at adrenals, liver, and immune functioning along with hormone levels thyroid, test, cortisol. It is not normal for a 27 year old to get a lot of colds and likewise feel worn out so something else is going on--just my 2 cents pal

Actually, that may not be a bad idea. I first noticed my own problems at 30. I'm now going to an endocrinologist to get all those and more checked out because a lot more is out of whack than just my test levels now. You might be headed down the same path in which case it would be good to head it off now before it gets worse.
