Just wondering how many of you guys are ON something all year round??

This includes if you bridge between cycles with something or if you "Cruise"....

Also I would like to know your reason for staying on all year round, and if you think you will pay any concequences for doing so.....

Myself I do take some time off completely every year.

Thanks to everyone who answers this question. And for anyone who is not ON all year, if you want to state that and say why your not, or if you would like to be. That is cool.

I don't even think most of the pros stay on year round. I sure don't, although I would love too :D . I've been going on 3-4 months, off 3-4 months now for about a year and a half.

I met and talked with Melvin Anthony and Jay Cutler and asked them how much time they take off completely. MA said 5 weeks, Jay said 12. Both used clomid and hcg.

Thats cool. You would be surprised how many guys on these boards do a "cruise" period only twice a year..... Which means they are on all year, but use just a lower amount of test to cruise for a bit sometimes....

My sex drive gets screwed up enough as it is, I don't want to be on HRT the rest of my life. That's just plain ignorant, IMO. Unless of course, you don't give a phuck!

LOL... Not my choice either.... But lets not be too harsh.... or the guys that stay on all year round aren't likely gonna speak up in this thread.... ;)

I usually don't even run long cycles. I'm gonna run a 20 weeker for my first time. 16 weeks has been my max.

me and all my boys are pretty much on all year. I mean, if you take 4 weeks off cold turkey from everything, there's still shit in your system that is working. I take down time often, I may even go 4 weeks on 2 weeks off or whatever. shit I've been on almost non stop for 5 years, so I've tried just about everything.

I have a bro who did 3g test, 12ui GH, and came off and on other shit for 16 months. he went from 6' 250lbs to 305 @ about 7%

I have been a little curious about year round myself-what would be a good bridge? I have never used GH,slin,Igf-1- I have always wondered if the top guys use GH year round? Any possible detrimental effects? In the mid nineties I would do 6 months on with sus-250 at 750-1000mg week with 6 week runs of a-50 at 50 mg/day-never had a single problem and blood work was excellent.

Usually on for 12-16 weeks then minimum of 6 weeks off, but I try to make it longer off when I can, depends on show schedules.

Hmmm.... I do give a phuk and I haven't been called ignorant in quite some time. Oh, and my sex drive is fine.

To the original poster, I stay on year round for quite a few good reasons but I all of a sudden don't feel like stating them.

Bump for more info from Skip ... or anybody else that stays on year round ... and how you can keep your natural chemistry balanced so as to not incur permanent HPTA shutdown ... need more info ...

The reasons for staying on are obvious ...

OK... Seriously skip, lets hear your reasons.... Don't worry if others don't agree.... everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

Not to mention that if I wasn't curious about staying on all year, I probably wouldn't have asked this question.

So lay it out for me skip.

I have a friend who stayed on test for over 2 years "I don't know how much" but he told me he went to the Dr. and has an enlarged heart. Now my cousin juiced for around 10years straight deca, winny, test, anadrol. He was a big boy... he has an enlarged heart and prostate problems now. And an irregular heartbeat.. This should make you realize that for anything you put in your system that isn't supposed to be there in the first place and for an extended period of time will cause problems eventually. That isn't my 2 cents thats the truth. I am not against staying on all year or anything I am just saying do your research because it is your organs your playing with.... Look at Walter Payton... Do you really think his disease was rare or could it of been something that was boosting himself that had unknown reprecussions. These are things that nobody has the answer to except this fortune teller I go to :)

As for prostate problems, some MD's are trying HRT to reverse prostate dysfuntion. The theory is that most men experience prostate problems after 50 when hormone activity has declined. Dr.William Campbell Douglass has stated in his newsletter that these MD's are seeing improvement in these patients. As for Walter Payton, who knows-could be anything. I can believe the enlarged heart from AAS-it is a muscle afterall. One of the chambers that pumps the most blood(can't recall which ventricle/atrium) experiences much more stroke volume from AAS use, but this is regarded as beneficial- means a lower heart rate. And many of the "life extention " people are saying that testosterone may be the fountain of youth. Granted the BB dosages are probably higher than recommended, and i am sure there will be some negative issues with long term/year round adminastration. But there are some beneficial actions with exogenous testosterone. i read in the paper a few weeks ago when the THG scandal blew up where some blowhards were up in arms referring to Lyle Alzado dying from brain cancer from AAS. I specifically remember an oncologist from UCLA saying shortly after Alzado's death that there has never been an association b/n aas and brain cancer...

enlarged hearts can be caused by weight lifting alone-not just aas use. There is a paper on it used to be in the edge forum now I don't know if you can find it. Decadent posted probably sometime last july.

there is a difference between enlarged heart, and enlargement of the left ventrical. I've had enlarged left ventrical since college ball days.
