I do em heavy also. I used to do them between chest and back when I worked those parts on the same day. Seem like a perfect
transition exercise. Now I do them sometimes on chest day as last exercise. I try to really concentrate on feeling it in the chest
but I always get a back and tri stretch. There are so many ways to shock the muscle. You could always do a couple workouts
pre-exaust. Super set DB flys first with bar bench, both to failure. (did those years ago when I was dieting down. Worked the
shit out of chest.) Just things like that for a couple of workouts might stir up a little something extra in the muscle.
Thats how we did it too, I didnt go really heavy though bc I want to make sure form is good, and the first time doing them I got a blood rush to my head
That's how I've always done them, but I feel it more in my lats than my chest. I mean I get a full stretch in my chest, but nothing like I get in my lats
