I had a knarly biking accident when I was younger and seriously damaged my right knee. So on heavy squats and presses I typicaly willl wrap that knee. Wraps are protecting the previous damage but I feel also inhibiting strengthening of the ligaments. Unfortunately if I don't wrap even with icing for a day straight I can barely walk for three days because of knee pain. So this is my stupid question. Should I wrap my left knee to inhibit the strengthening of that joint? I've been thinking that if my left continues to get stronger while my right does not because of the previous injury, I may have further problems down the road. Any thoughts?
