Lateral raise

In the gym training delts .. Just curious .. What is your max weight for lateral raise .. I know to keep the reps higher but my ego is getting in the way :-)
 
I usually stay with 20's and 25's. Still have that fear in my mind of hurting my shoulder again.
 
I start cheating too much with anything over 45 so I keep it there or below depending on how I'm feeling that day.
 
I rarely use dumbells anyway. I attach a leg cuff that attaches to the cables. I put it around my forearm and use the cable. I can go uptp 60 lbs but my shoulders are my best part. I will do 4-5 sets and I go "all out". In my opinion this exercise is king for shoulders.

That's sounds cool . I'm pretty lame when it comes to learning something new . I'm a visual person .

judging by your shoulders in your pic i'd say you know what your talking about bro
 
I have weak fucking shoulders so I stay around like 25, but I focus more on holding up top and really fighting the weight on the way down
 
I understand needing a visual. Maybe I can be more articulate. Take an ankle cuff that hooks to the cable machine and just put it around your foreamr, high close to the elbow...Now just do the same thing as you would with dumbells. I promise you will be hooked forever.

I do them dorian yates style, so 15-20lbs max. My shoulders are probably my best part.
