get this shit, I call the doctor's office about a fuck up in one of the bills...

they said that the insurance company requested a copy of all medical records pertaining to my injury (an abscess)

well on my 1st visit to the doctor I was dumb enough to tell him that this was probably the result of a steriod injection-figured I might as well be honest so he can fix me, and you have the whole doctor patient confident bullshit thing going...

well the lady in billing told me that doesn't hold true when it comes to insurance companies because they are the ones paying the bills...

so now I'm wondering if the insurance company will pull some bullshit like say that this was a self inflicted wound and they don't cover it (right now the bills are over $20,000)

you ever see the movie SICKO-the insurance companies are about the most crooked motherfuckers out there and will find any way to avoid a pay out

if push comes to shove I'll get a lawyer and say that I admited to use in the past but was not using at the time of the injury

lesson learned, don't be honest any more-fucking lie to cover your own ass

well I for one was always honest and use to preach to our members here to be honest with their physicians, however i have to admit alot of things have changed in recent years and yes the insurance companys are corrupt as can be and have people on payroll whos job it is to find ways and reason to deny coverage and these people get bonuses for the more coverage they cut from insurance policy holders

so yeah i would have to agree now that just keep ur shit to urself now days

when I went to the wound center and the hospital to get this chunk cut out of me, I lied to them I said I don't know...they're not stupid though and must have asked me several times-was this due to an injection? NO IT WAS NOT!

so if the insurance company wants to be pricks I have 2 other doctors that never did get a confirmation on how this happened

now that I'm on the subect, why do doctors always want to know, "How did this happen?" You blow your motor and take it to the shop do they say, "how did this happen? NO, they just fix it

But hey the insurance pricks sure don't have a problem taking your money every week.

Never tell your Dr that you use, cause all that goes on file, and if you want a life insurance policy one day, you can kiss that bye bye, those fuckers look, and have denied people I know. Like you stressed, crooked cock sucking douche bags!:puke:

yeah well I'm going down there later this week and if that fucker put down in my medical records that this was a direct result of AAS I'm done with him. I know that he's just documenting everything and I was dumb enough to open my mouth BUT he should also know that the insurance companies will screw me the 1st chance that they get.

That was the 1st thing that came out of his mouth, "Are you juicing?" those were his exact words.

when I talk to my Dr, I use the word Hypothetically in all my questions and responses, if you know what I mean. Like lets say, "Ok Dr, lets say I was hypothetically juicing and this was a cause and effect, would could we do do fix it?" This way it covers your ass and his!

Unfortunately that's very true. Even if you use legally for TRT, you end up getting higher rates for life insurance with less coverage. That's what happened to me.

^ see, an other dude burned by the crooked bastards! And saudades is problem more fit/healthy then 95% of the people whom apply.

Anytime I've had an infection from an injection, I tell them I got bit by a spider or punctured by a piece of metal. I know what I need so if they try to do anything other than just give me anti's, then I'll be honest, but until then, hell no

Ouch bro. I learned a long time ago with insurance companies in general. Don't volunteer any information you dont have to. They are sneaky as lawyers and find any reason to not pay.

Thats what i told my dr, that it was a spider bite. And I was good to go with antibiotics.

are we talking anti's as in antibiotics or anti inflammatorys? id be careful telling your doc it was a spider bite if u wanted antibiotics, ive been bitten by a spider twice before ( atleast a year apart) and im pretty sure that both times i was sent home with just anti inflammatorys..
then one time i went in when i had a rusty nail go through my shoe and i got antibiotics straight away, so id definately go with 'i got poked/pricked by a piece of metal'.

The spider bite has always worked for me, but my point was simply that I know I need antibiotics so if they tried anything other than that, I'd simply tell them another story or go somewhere else and get what I needed. That's the good thing about having so many friends that are nurses, they can tell me what I need before I go so I know what to get and anything other than that will create another fabricated story.

well for the record i was told by doctor that sometimes diabetics get abscesses and not from injecting insulin, but rather sometimes they get a spontaneoud abscess in any old area, i know this cause when doctor asked me what mine was from i said injection what else could it be from , and he explained diabetics get them

I was told by a lawyer to also watch what you say to social workers! when they ask you do you have a ride home, and you say yeah my car, they write down your assests, same with do you have a place to go, yeah my home, shit is crazy but if you cant pay your med bills they will know things you have by your own admittance

well that probably explains why they've asked me about 1000x whether or not I am diabetic
