thing is there is a time and a place for everything, nothing wrong with smoking some herb to relax eat more, hell I think its great doing it before you go to a buffet, ecspecially a really good buffet, but lets be serious if you are serious about anything and you need the power of your mind you need to be sober not stoned , people think they can do things better high is bullshit. Ive seen people work on engines stoned, lift wieghts stoned, live life stoned, they never really get that far, have accidents in the gym, cars dont ever work right, do just stupid shit. . I mean do you really want someone spotting you stoned out of his mind. I use to do it myself when I was younger. I can tell you from experience you can make better progress using the powers of the mind in anything you chose to excel in not being under the influence of pot or any other drug. Besides the pot makes you lazy as hell. Thinking you need it to focus better is bullshit
 
Adds focus if you smoke right before your workout.

I think people have different outcomes from smoking weed. Personally i dont gain any focus but im sure some do. And if it works for you then have at it.
After a stressful week i burn one to relax,
chill, and ease my mind. It doesnt make me
lazy though. I usually find myself cutting the
grass or cleaning the garage lol...,
 
I know that when I used to smoke it made me lazy as hell and basically worthless so I know it wouldn't benefit me in anyway in the gym, but things effect people differently so if it works for you, have at it

I smoked weed on and off for about 3 yrs after H.S. several years ago. IF I were to do anything at all today it would be Marinol....its got the same compound ( THC ) in pill form so you don't have to smoke it. Smoke is horrible for your lungs..I don't care if its weed, cigs, or inhaling smoke in a fire. I used to cough for a few mins straight after I took my first hit back in the day. Comon guys..listen to your body. We're all into strength training/weightlifting..if you're feeling tired, lethargic, etc from Overtraining should you continue to hit the gym 7 days a wk? No.

years ago i had my bench in my back yard. id smoke out then go do chest zonen out on the stars. shit i dident even count. nothing serious, really more of a relaxing work out. wouldent do it now days. and grass does affect people diffrent. me, if i smoked, id usally be coutch bound. my buddy could bong out for 2 hours, no visen, and go test in law school. if it works for you, do it man. dont listen to narrow minded over opionated people.
 
I'm not sure about pain relief, but as long as you're not going balls out I don't see why it would be harmful, but things effect people differently, I just know I'd never get anything positive accomplished
 
I don't see how it would help with the pain. But like Big said each person is nott the same.. But I wouldn't want to smoke weed before I workout.. I would rethier be all crab and jacked up when I get to the gym..
 
well i use to do hot tar roofing and by end of day would be tore up and exhausted then boss would be like well lets start another section we'd smoke then all the sudden felt like working not aching anymore and energized, THC is a mild acid and helps block pain receptors, people in serious pain r givin shrooms or acid medically to phase out pain

Same for me, its like an instant drain of all my energy leaving just enough to be able to drag my ass to bed. I couldnt imagine using it pre-workout id probably just fall asleep in the car outside the gym lol

My ex training partner was stoned every workout .. The mofo pushes and trains hard ..I don't know how he does it . I'd be looking for the nearest junk food store if I did that stuff ..
