Midnight eating ? who has the late night munchies ?

Seems like everytime I try to start dieting...the late night cravings are horriable. I mean I just want to eat off my arm...lol !!! So I have some sugar free popsicles or sugar free jello if im dieting...offseason, it will be some cottage cheese or something like that...but hell it sucks, I get up middle of the night and look in the fridge everytime...
 
I eat like a horse ever night before I go to bed !!! for some reson I'm want est then more than anytime !!!
 
I woke up the other night just past midnight, my heart was racing, and my body was screaming at me to eat, I had some water and a breakfast bar and I was fine... it was really weird
 
I have some psyllium husk fiber (sugar free) before bed every night to fill my stomach... Seems to work ok for me in taming late night hunger while dieting
 
Eat some cottage cheese or get some casein protein and take that before you go to bed, I used to do that in contest prep and it really helped get me through to the morning when I was ready to do cardio
 
I always have to wake up and eat in the off season. Precontest I seem to be OK except for a few ambien induced natural peanut butter gorges. I don't remember any of them, but my wife wakes up to me with peanut butter all over my face and a half eaten open jar on the counter with clumps of peanut butter on the floor. She has since hidden the peanut butter.
 
Food, I eat it when ever, how ever, no matter the time. I use to wake up every few hrs just to eat back when I was hard gaining in my 20's. Now I won't even attempt such an act. How about a protein shake mixed with WATER, not tasty, but will calm that egde and craving a tad till morn. I been eating Itilian ice like it's going out of style, kinda like what your doing with the jello and such. Just watch that slin level as you already know!
 
I typically sleep straight through the night unless I have to piss. I've never been too big of a late night eater either way though. I will wake up thirsty as hell, but rarely hungry
 
I work 3rd shift at a steel mill, so i do most of my eating at night.
 
i ususally have a few chugs of my protien drink i make for night time. but i wont lie im almost out of a big jar of chocolate coverd almonds...dark chocolate .. :-P . DAMMIT!
I need ot put it some where harder to get...
gf flipped acually to day when she saw it was almost empty. (mind you this is over 3 weeks but where talking ALOT of almonds lol)
 
Almonds and dark chocolate aren't that bad for you though, but if there's as many as you make it seem, then that probably isn't good lol
